WWE Gamma 2.0 SmackDown 9/7, Week 120

The theme song Know Your Enemy by Green Day is played while the pyro goes off. Michael Cole & Josh Matthews welcome everyone to the show as the crowd is on fire here tonight!

Booker T comes out to the ring to a huge pop. Booker says he has three huge matches tonight, all involving the participants in the Brawl for it All Match at Night of Champions. He announces that Rey Mysterio will face Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio will face WWE Champion Sheamus in a rematch from a couple weeks ago and John Cena will face Cody Rhodes in the main event. This brings out Wade Barrett and the Nexus. Barrett argues with Booker, telling him he's being unfair and that he should have a one on one rematch with Sheamus at Night of Champions. Booker turns down this request. Barrett continues to talk and Booker finally tells him to shut up and if he says one more word, he will be the hell out of him. The crowd cheers. Barrett then smiles and says I knew you would say that and he has Otunga hand him a sheet of paper. Barrett says that this is another letter from the Board of Directors stating that if Booker T lays his hand on any superstar in the WWE for now on, he will lose his GM job. The crowd boo's. Booker T just shakes his head and walks out. Well Wade Barrett will take on Rey Mysterio next!

Wade Barrett def. Rey Mysterio with the Wasteland. During the match, Booker T came back out and banned the Nexus from ringside, like he did for the Brawl for it All Match at Night of Champions. After the match, Barrett grabbed a mic and complained more about Booker T and said he wants to show why he will be the next WWE Champion. The Nexus come back down and beat down Mysterio when Sheamus comes running out with John Cena and the Nexus exits. They wanted nothing to do with these men tonight.

Randy Orton comes out to a massive pop from this crowd. Randy says that last week, Brock Lesnar again crossed the line. However, he smiles and says he does have his match with Brock Lesnar. The crowd cheers. Paul Heyman then comes out and tells Randy that once again, Brock Lesnar will beat him senseless at Night of Champions. Teddy Long then comes out. Teddy says that Booker T has announced that tonight, we will see the match we didn't see next week. It will be Randy Orton vs. Paul Heyman but Orton DOES NOT have to have his hands tied behind his back. The crowd goes nuts as Heyman has seen a ghost. Orton gets Heyman tonight! Teddy then says he has it on good authroity that Brock Lesnar will not be here tonight! The crowd cheers! Orton smiles as Heyman can't believe it. What a match that we will finally see tonight!

Santino Marella def. JTG. A pretty average match here with Santino winning with the Cobra. Afterward, Kofi Kingston, who was at ringside with Zeke, gets in and acts like he wants Trouble In Paradise but Santino turns and Koif hesitates as Santino throws his Cobra in the air and the two dance around. Again no one strikes but they will at Night of Champions!

We see Sheamus in the back when Cody Rhodes interupts him. Cody tells him that he will never no if he's going to cash in or not at Night of Champions if he loses the match. Sheamus smiles and tells him he's not worried and walks out. Well coming up next, we have diva's action as Kelly teams with Tamina to take on Alicia & Kaitlyn and it's next!

Kelly Kelly & Tamina Snuka def. Diva's Champion Alicia Fox & Kaitlyn after Kelly pinned Kailtyn with the K-2. Alicia walked out on Kailtyn at the end of the match.

We see Paul Heyman in the back walk in by Booker T and he is complaining about being put in this match without Brock here. Booker says the match is on sucka. Well Heyman is in trouble tonight! Non the less, the WWE Champion Sheamus takes on Alberto Del Rio next!

WWE Champion Sheamus def. Alberto Del Rio with the Brogue Kick. After the match, Sheamus nailed another Brogue Kick to Del Rio, sending a message for Night of Champions that even though the odds are against him, he has the edge!

Percy Watson def. Tensai with a roll through. After the match, Tensai beats down Watson and exits and then Mahal comes in and locks in the Camel Clutch but Brodus Clay comes running down and that makes Mahal flee!

Ladies and gentlemen, have you have noticed, Derrick Bateman has not been appearing on SmackDown as of late. At SummerSlam, Bateman serverley tore a muscle in his shoulder and will be out for a significant amount of time. Non the less, we see Paul Heyman on the phone in the back but he faces Orton next!

Randy Orton def. Paul Heyman with the RKO after Orton just toyed with Heyman the whole match. Towards the end, Lesnar appears via satalittle telling Orton not to do it or he will pay right as Orton nails the RKO and Lesnar cringed as Orton wins. Orton smiles and Lesnar rips off his mic and destroys the camera set. Well Lesnar and Orton meet, Anything Goes at Night of Champions!

The Nexus is shown in the back talking about something when Justin Gabriel walks in and the crowd cheers. Oh man, Gabriel alone with all 4 Nexus members. Gabriel gets in Slater's face and tells him they were never friends in the Nexus and at Night of Champions, he's going to destroy him. Gabriel walks out as the Nexus cools down Slater. Well ladies and gentlemen, our main event, John Cena vs. Cody Rhodes is next!

John Cena def. Cody Rhodes via DQ. Rhodes got DQ'd when he nailed John Cena in the face with his briefcase. Rhodes then nailed the Cross Rhodes to Cena! Then Rey Mysterio's music hits and he begins running out but the Nexus attacks him from behind and Rhodes runs and hides behind the baracade in the crowd. The Nexus beats down Mysterio until Sheamus comes running out and the Nexus beats him down to. Barrett then nails the Wasteland to Cena, Mysterio, and finally the champion Sheamus. The Nexus leaves as the crowd boo's. Then Alberto Del Rio comes running down and begins to beat down Sheamus but Cody Rhodes gets back in and nails Del Rio in the face with the briefcase! Rhodes then picks up Sheamus and nails the Cross Rhodes! Rhodes smiles and holds up his briefcase! Alicia comes running down and gets in the ring and hugs Rhodes. Cody Rhodes stands tall again here tonight.
