Night of Champions Review

Ok I am apt to admit that I watched some of the Pay Per View and opted to hear the rest. The one highlight that stuck out for me was CM Punk's promo. It was straight forward and all heel. I would love to see him come on Smackdown with blonde hair and contine to do what he started last night. Jeff Hardy winning the belt was actually refreshing to see for once. Instead of it being a quick 30 second shot, I pray this time he is able to prove himself a true champion. An angle with CM Punk or John Morrison would work either way for me anyway.

I think the Rey Jr./Dolph Ziggler match lasted way too long and I think that if it had been better placed and given enough time to be put out right it would have went over better. But that is just me. However the need to put Dolph Ziggler over because of Jeff Hardy's departure that hasn't happened yet is kind of stupid. He needs to be able to be buildt up enough to put himself over on his own.

The fact that a Divas Title Match was far more important than the Intercontential title and World title matches had be first before this was like feeding me strawberries and then giving me lemons. Heartburn is inevitable and painful. It was sad to me.

Chris Jericho as always proves himself a great heel. I had no problem with him at all. His choice of partner needed to be desired, but at the same point logical. Show and Edge were feuding and now it would make a good chance for Edge to return as the ultimate face and the picture can paint itself.

Over all I give the pay per view a 6. Hopefully and I am praying hard that Summer Slam is actually worth the value.
