Big Show DESERVES to defeat Mark Henry on Sunday!

I'll be the first to admit that I'm Big Show's biggest fan. I've always thought that he was the most underappreciated Superstar in WWE history. I also admire Mark Henry and I am so glad that he is currently able to enjoy a lengthy run as the World Heavyweight Champion. We can all harp on Vince McMahon and his decisions on who to push and whom not to, but when it comes to Henry's current run, you have to give Vince some credit for rewarding a guy who has put in so many years in this business.

Mark Henry is 40 years old. For guys like Triple H and Kurt Angle, this marked the time when they started appearing on television FAR less frequently. And those guys are in tremendous shape physically. Henry is a much larger man, therefore he probably has a much harder time competing night in and night out. But there he is - representing Smackdown as the brand's major champion.

Henry has never had such a successful storyline in his 15 year career with WWE. For the better part of those 15 years, he has been stuck using quirky gimmicks and being a stepping stone for other Superstars. The two other times when he was main eventing shows were when he was the champion of ECW, which is a large step down from World Heavyweight Champion, and when he battled Batista and Undertaker in a losing effort in each feud. He had this run coming to him and he deserved this 2 month run as champion.

As for Big Show, he has had an eerily similar career to Henry's except for the beginning. Big Show won the WCW Championship immediately after debuting. He won several major championships early on and entered WWE with momentum. But soon he would lose that momentum. Aside from a WWE Title run for less than a month in 2002, Big Show has held neither the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship in the 2000s.

Big Show has had some decent programs teaming with Chris Jericho, The Miz, and Kane. He, like Henry, was also a dominant ECW Champion. But for whatever reason, Mr. McMahon declines to let the largest athlete in the world to get a deserving push with a major title. Instead, he opts for guys like:

-Jack Swagger: The worst major champion in WWE history

-The Great Khali: The worst major champion not named Jack Swagger in WWE history (probably knows less moves than David Arquette)

-Sheamus: Less than 2 months after his first match on Raw

-Alberto Del Rio: Such as forced champion; lost more than half of his matches before winning Money in the Bank, the Royal Rumble, and his two subsequent WWE Titles

I'm not saying these guys aren't good. I'm going by the label "Deserving". And I believe that a soon-to-be 40-year old that has been a huge presence in the company for over 15 years should be rewarded.
