The Bottom 10 Survivor Series 2011 Performers

Welcome to the Bottom 10!

This is a new non-fantasy blog show that I have created with the intent of pointing out what is sub-par in the wrestling world. The first episode of the Bottom 10 is devoted to the worst 10 Survivor Series 2011 performers. It was a decent PPV, but let's take a look at who failed to show up. (#1 is the worst)

10. Jinder Mahal - If you were one of many to miss the dark match, don't fret. It was Santino Marella vs. Jinder Mahal. This match would struggle to make it onto a Raw or Smackdown broadcast, let alone a PPV. Mahal's woes continue without the help of The Great Khali. His downhill slide doesn't look like it will end anytime soon.

9. R-Truth - This guy had the opportunity to really breakout in his main event match against The Rock and John Cena. Instead, he chose to wiggle and dance and rap a poor version of a previously decent song. Maybe he was worried about the impending suspension that he received yesterday.

8. Alberto Del RIo - The easiest guy in the WWE to have a great match with right now is CM Punk, just ask Dolph Ziggler, who killed it with Punk Monday night. But the Punk/Del Rio match was just ho-hum, just like every Del RIo match ends out being. It was a mistake pushing that guy to be WWE Champion and I hope WWE has learned their lesson.

7. Mason Ryan - The bigman is impressive every time he walks out from backstage. He is big, intimidating, and intense. But at Survivor Series, he didn't play his part. After a few quick hits, he was quickly down for the count and leaving his team with one less man.

6. Booker T - I have actually enjoyed Booker T's commentary for the most part. He brings a different style than most of your average joes. However, I can only take so many "You gotta love it" lines. Come up with something different Book!

5. John Cena - The only person on this list who won their match, but the main event was obviously not won single-handedly by Cena. It was actually the other way around. It was The Rock who carried the team to victory. Cena had only a few highlights in the match. Combine that with the reaction from the crowd (they actually asked him to tag the Rock back in) and the Rock Bottom he received after the match, and it was a night to forget for CeNation.

4. Eve - I can't say I'm surprised that Eve is on this list. She's not the worst in-ring performer out of the divas, but it's still hard for her to put on a good performance against the likes of Beth Phoenix.

3. Lumberjills - Pointless

2. Sin Cara - Ruptured patellar tendon? Ouch! This guy will probably be out until mid-2012. What's worse is he was hardly involved in his match before it happened. Plus, the injury occurred in a strange fashion. He was just preparing for his outside dive and it gave out on him. Usually it takes an awkward landing or something. This was just unsatisfying.

1. Mark Henry - The World Champion did not live up to his title in his defense against Big Show at Survivor Series. Big Show muscled the World's Strongest Man around the ring for a good while before Henry decided to take the easy way out and give Show a good old fashioned nut shot. It would be different if the rest of the match was so good that the ending didn't matter, but that was not the case. The match was too slow paced and the ending left a bad taste in my mouth. At least I got to see Big Show give a top rope elbow drop!
