Hypothetical here

Let's say that at this past Wrestlemania, Roman Reigns won the WWE World Title, but instead of beating Triple H. He won a title that had been vacated, and he beat Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose in order to do so.

Then at the Payback PPV, Roman beat Dolph Ziggler in shady fashion with a reference to a past screwjob. Then he beat Ziggler once again at the Extreme Rules PPV the next month.

At Money in the Bank Roman and his protegee, a newly called up Tye Dillinger, beats Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose.

At Battleground, Dolph Ziggler beats Dean Ambrose in a one on one match, whil Seth Rollins teaming with Austin Aries defeats Roman and Tye.

Because of this Seth is granted a WWE World Title match the next night on Monday Night Raw and he becomes the new champion.

At Summer Slam, Roman goes on to decimate Seth, almost crippling him on his way to another WWE World Title Reign.

The Clash of Champions PPV, Roman defeats both Seth and Austin in a triple threat match to retain his title.

However Seth is granted a one on one match with Roman, and he once again beats him on Raw to become the WWE World Champion.

A couple of weeks later, Roman cashing in his rematch clause becomes the WWE World Champion inside of Hell in a Cell.

At Survivor Series, Roman leads his team to victory over team Smackdown Live, afterward he destroys Austin.

Then in his home town he loses the WWE World Title to Seth. On Monday Night Raw by the way.

Roman-5 time WWE World Champion
Seth-3 time WWE World Champion

What would you all think about that? Would you claim that it was a great rivalry? Or ridicule it as undermining the credibility of the WWE World Championship?

If I'm not mistaken, this is in reference to the Sasha/Charlotte situation on Raw lately. I would say the feud itself has been really successful in the sense of producing several high quality matches and moments, several on a main event level and the crowds haven't lost interest, which is what they ultimately care about. But I agree the the title changes have been too excessive and hopefully last night's was the last one for at least several months.
