Are Cruiserweights The Future of the WWE?
A lot has been said about Vince wanting to only have large well developed wrestlers, but when has the last one come through that was Championship material. All the recent wrestlers coming through have been of average build, ie CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne even MVP. Is this because the large wrestlers have no talent, ie Vladmir Koslov or that wrestling is changing? I believe that wrestling and what the viewing public want is more aerial acrobatics and dynamic moves that your larger wrestler just cannot physically do. So any wrestler coming through is consider slow or boring. Will there be another Batista or Triple H or has that Era come to an end?

It reminds me of the mid-90s when guys like the British Bulldog, Ultimate Warrior, and Hulk Hogan either left or were booted from the then-WWF. When they were gone, it made way for guys like Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. I don't know if it's permanent or not. In the 90s, they did drug testing for a small stretch, but stopped after a while. I don't think they'll be able to stop that (and thankfully so) ever again. Another aspect is that a lot of the guys we're seeing today modeled themselves after guys like Hart and Michaels. To be honest, I dont mind the light weight material carrying heavyweight gold. It's better wrestling then a big guy like Big Show who's really boring or The Great Khali. CM Punk is doing good and so is Kingston. The rating for SmackDown went from 2.6 or so all the way down to 2.0 or so and I'm not sure why since some of the younger talent are better wrestlers then the wrestlers that are on the 'DRAMA' filled Raw.
