Point of Jericho defeating Bourne?
I've been a huge fan of Evan Bourne for awhile now and it truely sickens me the way the WWE has made him a punching bag up 'till recently. Now I haven't been a Cena fan since he dropped one of the best gimmicks in the WWE but the fact that he spoke up for Bourne says a lot about his character. Finally they started pushing Bourne and then he gets a huge win over Jericho at the PPV. Then on Raw they put Jericho back over Bourne in a match that made no sense.
If your trying ot push Bourne you don't start doing it then have him lose brining his push to a stand still. This isn't like Booker T-Beniot or HHH-The Rock where two very established wrestlers have a series of matches. This is Evan Bourne who is trying to crawl out of the basement. To me, especially with Jericho leaving soon to tape a show, the match just made no sense. The only way the match could have been saved is if Jericho had actually shook Bourne's hand because its not like Jericho needed the extra heat by nailing Bourne after the match. Just my 2 cents...

it makes alot of sense bro. its like every ppv or story line. sum1 gets the better of the other than the other wrestler strikes back. there not gonna let 5 foot 8 180 pond bourne beat jericho both times. he'll lose to much face. he evan is getting his push now and will continue to stay hot for a while Posted on June 22, 2010 at 9:48 AM |

for evan to reach a high potential though he almost have to bring back cruiser weights more. i see a feud with him and that nxt season 1 guy soon. they have similar moves and acrobatic styles. evans has alot of potential but gonna have the rey rey problem. where people just dont buy that know matter how good and fast they cant roll over people like show whos over a foot taller and 400 pounds bigger. plus hes a newbie. he can have a push but has to wait in line like kofi,ted d,and john morrison. cena's the main reason 4 his push now. he demanded it Posted on June 22, 2010 at 9:53 AM |

When all is said and done, Chris Jericho will go down as one of the top 5 WWE Superstars of all time. He may not be a fan favorite now, but he was at one time and he had success doing that just as he has success at whatever level he is at. I too am an Evan Bourne fan. Perhaps not as big a fan as you are, but I believe he has main event potential and I believe that talent outweighs size. Bourne, Mysterio, Kaval, Daniel Bryan, and whoever else you want to name that lacks size, but makes up for it with loads of talent all need to be showcased for who they are. I think WWE is finally getting there with Evan Bourne and putting him in a series of matches with a man who has won 3 World titles in the last couple years proves it, even if he loses a match. evan bourne is also one of my favorites. im happy hes getting a push. but i dont think its gonna last, because now u have justin gabriel. he finished 3rd in NXT season 1, hes small. he haz similar moves. and maybe have evan bourne go into tag team division with justin gabriel. they have the same finisher moves as paul london and brian kendrick did.
