Too Few

WWE needs to add more titles to the rosters, as it will give midcards like MVP, Yoshi Tatsu and Zack Ryder more airtime. There are currently only 8 titles in the WWE, including the Million Dollar Championship(which I think will be defended at NOC), and this will be cut to 7 with the unification of the Divas and Women's titles. Either create a new title, or bring back the Hardcore, as it will install more unpredictability, or the Crusierweight, as it will open up a whole new division. What do you think?

Well your going to be annoyed but wwe are planning on unifying the titles to have 4 titles

My feeling on the matter is that the company has done us a justice with first unifying the tag titles and now the ladies championships.

Besides the champions, the only tag teams I can think of in the company are The Usos, The Dudebusters, The Gatecrashers, Morrison & R-Truth, Rhodes & McIntyre, and Santino & Kozlov. You could also include any combination of Nexus or maybe Gallows & Mercury. If there were still tag titles on each brand, it would be even more watered down. Morrison & R-Truth have just recently reformed and Rhodes & McIntyre have only been going at it a few weeks, and those may be the only viable contenders available. The Nexus and SES don't seem to be interested in the tag titles and most of the other teams don't even make it on TV regularly.

The divas may be in even worse shape. On Raw last night, we were able to witness every diva in the company on the stage or in LayCool's case the ring. It truly showed how pitiful the division is right now. Rosa Mendes is now the second best face on Smackdown. Melina's fiercest competition are divas who were fortunate enough to earn a title in this diva great depression (Alicia Fox, Eve Torres, Jillian). When the two titles are unified, there will finally be hope and perhaps some higher quality matches with the top-tier divas.

My point is, the last thing the WWE needs to do is add more titles. They need to add more interest in the hunt for the Intercontinental and U.S. Titles. You can count on one hand how many times The Miz has defended his U.S. Title since winning it back. It seems like the Intercontinental is always fought for in a rivalry between the same two guys for 4-6 months and then one of them substitutes for someone else. These two prestigious titles need more contenders and more TV time dedicated to the chase to achieve them.

@jungty if Christian and Hardy continue to team I would have them in the top 3 contending teams automatically. There are 17 tag titles between the two of them.

@kaihtafc as I said before, I'm all for the floundering tag and women's divisions to unify titles, but I can't see the major titles unifying. There are way too many guys at a high level right now. The IC and US unifying is feasable, but I think they should stay separate as well and the WWE should just build better storylines around them.

A Cruiserweight Title would give guys like Bourne, Ryder, Chavo, and Goldust some good feuds and more screen time. Make it happen, WWE

honestly this is both a good idea and a bad idea, this meens a
(Bad)release of alot of people
(Good) more battle royals
(Bad) not many tittle matches at PPV's
(Good) People switching brands alot
(Bad) Not that well of storylines
(Good) more viewing time, especially if they go ahead with their idea of making a whole new channel.

Hard decision
