DOMINION (Canadian Showdown)

The cameras zoom in on the broadcast table with Jim Ross along with collegue JBL. JR opens the show.

"Hello wrestling fans. Tonight is DOMINION's first ever venture outside the United States. We are at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Canadian fans are in a word, bizarre, so expect anything and everything tonight. JBL, tell us about the first match."

"JR, the first match features Chicago born Colt Cabana facing newly signed talent Jay Lethal. The ring announcer is about to begin the introductions."

"Introducing first, from Elizabeth NJ, former TNA X-division champion, Jay Lethal!"

Lethal walks to the ring to his theme music, "Static" by Dale Oliver.

"And his opponent from Chicago, IL, Colt Cabana!"

The ever popular Cabana makes his way to the ring giving high fives to the fans to his ring music, "Anarchy."

The referee calls for the bell and the action begins. JR offers some background on Jay Lethal.

"Lethal was trained by Mikey Whipwreck, his pro debut was in 2001 and has held titles in every promotion he has performed in."

The two young superstars take the best each other have in a great back and forth action that last about ten minutes until Lethal hits Cabana with his finisher, "That's All She Wrote," securing his debut win for DOMINION.

JR offers, "JBL, that finisher is also known as a inverted over the shoulder back to belly piledriver."

JBL responds, "I was hoping you'd point that out JR. That move has obviously won Lethal many matches, not to mention championships."

Backstage the camera finds Bobby Roode warming up for his match later on. He is approached by an unknown interviewer.

"Bobby Roode, tonight you are in your hometown of Toronto and you are facing World Heavyweight Champion Bryan Danielson in a non-title match, what are your thoughts?"

Roode answers, "My thoughts, first of all, it's great to be here in front of my fellow Canadians!" The fans respond, "Roode, Roode, Roode!"

"I'm going to give Danielson the greatest match I possibly can and when I pin him I will become the #1 contender for that strap!"

After a short commercial break advertising the 5 hour energy and JG Wentworth "it's your money and I want it now!" commercials we are back live and ready for our next match.

"From Gainesville GA, "The Phenomanal" AJ Styles!" As AJ's ring music, "Get Ready to Fly" plays, he makes his way to the ring to a good reception from the fans in attendance.

"And his opponent, from Los Angeles, CA, "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels." Styles opponent is not well received so he plays to that causing the Canadian fans to boo im even louder.

JR sets up this match, "These two men are the best of friends and bitter enemies. They have teamed together to win tag titles and they have feuded in some extreme hard fought matches."

JBL responds, "That's right and tonights match is a Falls Count Anywhere match."

The match begins and the two warriors start in the middle of the ring. It doesn't take long for the action to spill outside the ropes. They brawl into the ringside seats scattering the fans and brawl towards the backstage area. AJ uses steel pipes and chairs while Daniels uses TV cables and broomsticks to batter his foe. In the end, AJ Styles gets the win after hitting a sitting power bomb off the stage at the 18 minutes mark fo the brawl.

As the two are layed out beneath the stage the audience is stunned by the turn of events. JBL and JR take us through a replay and then a commercial break promising to update us on their condition as soon as we learn something.

The commercial break is a trailer of the Blu Ray disc of The Rock's movie "Fast Five" now in stores. The Olive Garden features their new menu item and we here from Flo and Progressive Insurance about their different plans.

We are back and Christopher Daniels is being treated in the back by paramedics. AJ is also being treated.

"JBL, it looks like both men did not suffer any serious injuries."

"It looks like that, but they are going to be seen by a local doctor for precautionary measures."

"And now for fonight's main event. Introducing first, Toronto's own Bobby Roode!"

Roode's ring music, "Take a Fall" by Dale Oliver begins as he is welcomed to a huge ovation from his hometown fans.

"And his opponent, from Aberdeen Washington, the DOMINION World Heavyweight Champion, Bryan Danielson!"

Danielson is shown respect with a nice ovation, but is clearly not the favorite in tonight's match.

The match begins with the two locking up. Danielson drops to his knees and flips Roode over with a kneeling fireman's carry takedown. Roode is quickly back to his feet as is Danielson. The two square off. They lock up again, this time Roode applies a head lock, but Danielson reverses it into a rear hammerlock. Roode reverses that into an armbar, followed quickly with an armdrag takedown.

"Nice chain wrestling, don't you agree, JBL?"

"Yes, very boring match so far, JR! I want to see some action!"

As Danielson gets back to his feet he is met with a running clothesline that sends him over the top rope.

JR offers more backgroud, "Roode has been a rising star as of late. There are not many that has been as hot as he has been in recent months."

JBL answers, "If he were a stock, I'd definately invest in him. This kid is going places. I see nothing but gold form him in the future and as we all know, gold is a rising commodity!"

Roode follows Danielson outside and rolls him back into the ring. Roode applies a double legged Boston Crab on the champion who refuses to tap. He uses his arm strength to push up to ease the pressure on his back and manages to escape the painful hold.

As Danielson gets to his feet he is met with three straight knife edge chops that breaks the skin on his chest. The fans chat, "woooo" after each chop paying hommage to the legendary "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

Roode hits a standng dropkick that sends Danielson's head hard into the bottom turnbuckle.

JBL notes, " His head and neck really took a bad blow there. He could have a serious injury."

Roode drags Danielson to the center of the ring and goes for the cover. Amazingly, Danielson kicks out at two. The Toronto natives bodyslams the champion and drops a hard elbow drop across his opponent's chest. Another pinning attemt. Another kick out at two.

Danielson is low to get up but somehow manages to hold the top rope with his arm as Roode attempts a DDT.

JR notes, "A rare tactical error by Mr. Roode. He usaly has better ring awareness."

Bryan Danielson climbs the top rope still favoring his neck. He leaps off with his vintage missle dropkick to Roode's chest. Danielson lads on the back of his neck. Both men are down and the referee begins the mandatory ten count. Both struggle and make it to their feet by the nine count.

JR interrupts, "Fans we must go to a commercial break, but we'll be right back. If a decision happens we will have the cameras rolling so you won't miss it."

Capital One offers a commercial as does Carnival Cruise Lines. Disney shows their latest Pixar film coming out in theatres and we are back to the action.

When the commercials end, the cameras pick up the action with Danielson hittins some round kicks to Roode's legs causing them to cramp. The champion hits Roode with a side Russian legsweep. He floats over for a cover. Roode gets a shoulder up at two.

The World Heavyweight Champion picks Roode up and hits a belly to belly suplex, followed by a delayed standing suplex. Roode is dazed.

JR observes, "When the blood rushed to your head lilke that you can become disoriented."

JBL retorts, "That's the purpose of the hold JR. It could spell out a victory."

While Roode is down, Cowboy James Storm, Roode's longtime friend and tag team partner comes to the ringside to offer encouragement.

JBL reminds us, "Remember JR, that last week's show had Storm and Danielson wrestle to a draw. They will face each other at BRAWL in the FALL in a couple of weeks for the World Heavyweight Championship."

With the distraction to Danielson, Roode hits a clubbing forearm to the back of Danielson's already injured neck and rolls him up in a small package. Danielson kicks out again frustrating Roode.

Roode whips Danielson into the ropes and leaps frogs him as he rebounds. As Danielson hits the other ropes, James Storm "Low Bridges" the champion, causing him to fall hard outside the ring. Storm them rolls the champion back inside the ring.

Bobby Roode did not see his partner's interference. Roode applies a Canadian Sharpshooter in honor of his childhood hero, Bret "the Hitman" Hart. Danielson tries valiantly to escape but decides to tap out and fight another day and avoiding further injury. Roode's arm is raised in victory as James Storm charges into the ring.

Storm picks up Danielson and tosses him over the top rope to the floor below and lifts his partner's hand to celebrate the victory. Roode sees the replay on the JumboTron and is seen mouthing, "Why did you do that?" Storm replies, "to help you out!"

Paul Heyman, the GM of DOMINION comes to the top of the stage.

"Storm, since you just had to interfere in this match I have decided that at our PPV, BRAWL in the FALL for your match for the World Championship will now be a Triple Threat. For the title will be the champion Bryan Danielson defending his title against Bobby Roode and their opponent will be Cowboy James Storm!"

Roode and Storm look at each other puzzled because they did not want to face each other. They both eye each other and Roode glares at Storm for bringing this situation into their friendship.

JR says, "That is goning to be a great main event for BRAWL in the FALL. I'm looking forward to that match."

JBL adds, "Also added is another AJ Styles vs. Christopher Daniels match. It's going to be settled inside a steel cage!"

JR continues, "Also in a rare cross over federation match. Ring of Honor champion Davey Richards will defend his title against DOMINION's latest aquisition Jay Lethal!"

As the announcers finish running down the card for BRAWL in the FALL the cameras are in the back showing a black limo pulling into the parking area. Out comes Vince McMahon and he is overheard by the microphones saying, "Heyman will be a fool not to take my offer."

As Mr. McMahon makes his way inside the building, JR is heard talking to JBL, "What offer could Mr. McMahon be referring to?"

JBL answers, "I have no idea JR, hopefully we will get the light shed on this by next week."

As Mr. McMahon enters Paul Heyman's office the new DOMINION logo appears as the shoe ends another great broadcast.
