WWE DOMINION (Storm vs. Rhodes in the Main Event)

Tonight, WWE DOMINION eminates from the FedEx Forum in Memphis TN. Filling in for Matt Stryker at the broadcast table is Hall of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler. Lawler opens the show.

"Welcome to Memphis Tennessee's FedEx Forum. Don't adjust your set, this is not Monday Night RAW, rather this IS WWE DOMINION!"

Joey Styles adds, "Tonight we have some great matches, King, but for a special treat for our wrestling fans we are leading off with a 10 man Over the Top Rope LEGENDS Battle Royal. Let's go to the ring for the official introduction."

Before she starts the introductions, Lilian Garcia sings The Star Spangled Banner in honor of the country and in a patriotic support of all our men and women serving in the Armed Forces all over the world and here in the United States.

Lilian begins, "The first match is a LEGENDS Battle Royal, the last man in the ring after the others have been tossed over the top will win a $10k purse! Introducing first, from Honolulu Hawaii, former NWA World heavyweight champion and WWE Intercontiental champion, Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat!" The fans go wild for one of the all time greats as he makes his way to the ring and blows fire as he did back in the day.

"Next, from Paris Island South Carolina, Hall of Famer and former WWE champion Sgt. Slaughter!" The former Marine Sgt. makes his way to the ring waving his Old Glory flag to the chants of "USA, USA, USA!"

"From Glasgow Scotland, "The Rowdy One" Rowdy Roddy Piper, from Seattle Washington, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine, from Sweetwater Texas, Barry Windham, from Tehran Iran, former WWE champion, The Iron Shiek." The fans boo him loudly as he makes his way to the ring with his Iranian flag.

"From Marietta, Georgia, "Buff Bagwell, from Austin Texas, "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes, from Amarillo Texas, Terry Funk and finally from Consequences New Mexico, Cactus Jack!"

Lawler: "This is truly a Who's Who of wrestling legends!"

Styles: "That's right King, Buff Bagwell is probably the young of all of them at 41 years old. He could be the winner."

Lawler, "Don't let the ages fool you, Styles, any one of them can pull out a victory. Each in his own right is a cagey veteran and capable of pulling an upset from out of the hat. The action is starting"

Each Legend gives his all the battle goes on for about 15 minutes. When the smoke settles the last man in the ring is Barry Windham. Paul Heyman, the GM of DOMINION enters the ring and presents him with the $10K check.

Windham takes the mic, "Piper!" He yells. "Get back into this ring!" The rowdy one thinking he is going to do more battle climbs back into the ring ready to rumble.

Windham continues, " We all know about your medical issues over the pas few years with the cancer scare and recovery. So with that said, we all have agreed to give you this check to help with your medical expenses!"

To everyone's surprise the two embrace, Piper is clearly touched by this act of kindness. The other legends are at ringside applauding the Rowdy Scot.

In Diva's action Kelly Kelly successfully defends her title against Tamina. During her celebration, Beth Phoenix, Natalya Neidhart and Tamina beat her down to injure her left knee and put her out of action for a time.

Colt Cabana and AJ Styles went to a 15 minute draw in a classic match. The fans were clearly into this match cheering and chanting for both superstars.

"And now for your main event of the evening, from Franklin Tennessee, "The Tennessee Cowboy" Cowboy James Storm!"

Storm's music "Sorry About Your Damn Luck" hits and he emerges from the back with his typical beer guzzling style as he makes his way to the ring.

"And his opponent, from Marietta Georgia, the Intercontinental Champion, Cody Rhodes!" Rhodes comes out with his "bag men" handing out paper bags. He hands one to Jerry Lawler and Joey Styles. Lawler stands up and rips the bag to shreds as Cody looks on in disdain. Lawler points to the ring and says, "You better worry about him and not me!"

As Cody climbs into the ring, Triple H, the C.O.O. of the WWE appears on the TitanTron. "Cody, since you interrupted me last week on RAW, I've decided that this will be a No DQ match. Next time you better think before butting into my business. You better learn that you cannot play The Game!"

The bell rings and the two combatants face off. Rhodes begins with hard slap to Storm's face. This infuriates The Cowboy who responds with a fist to the side of Rhodes face.

Storm kicks Rhodes then whips him into the ropes. As Rhodes rebounds he ducks a clothesline by Storm. Rhodes stops and turns and grabs Storm by his long hair and pulls him backwards with his back crashing into Rhodes bare knees. Rhodes goes for a quick cover but with no avail. The Cowboy kicks out at 2.

Rhodes tosses Storm over the top rope to the arena floor. Rhodes perches on the ring apron and leaps with a flying forearm to the base of Storm's neck. Rhodes smashes Storm's head into the steel steps, opening a cut on his forehead.

Rhodes the clears the announce table and attempts to hit hsi "cross Rhodes" atop the table. Storm blocks it and backflips Rhodes off the table to the floor. Lawler and Styles get out of the way.

Storm legdrops across Rhodes chest from the announce table. The Tennessee Cowboy picks Rhodes up and bodyslams him across the broadcast table. The table remains intact. Storm climbs to the top of it once again and hits a Piledriver which causes the table to collapse.

The fans chant, "This is awesome, this is awesome!"

Storm grabs the injured Rhodes and rolls him back into the ring. The Cowboy picks Rhodes up and nails him with his "Hangman's Noose" neckbreaker. Storm goes for the cover. The ref makes the count and Cowboy James Storm is your new Intercontinental Champion.

Jerry Lawler climbs into the ring to interview the new champion.

"Cowboy James Storm, you claiemd you were here in the WWE for championship gold. Tonight you defeated Cody Rhodes to become the new IC champion. What is next for you?"

James Storm yanks the mic from Lawler's hand.

"I said I was here to make money. To make money in this business means you have to win championships. Tonight I am your IC champion. Now I want to collect more gold and become the United States champion. With that said, at the next PPV I am challenging whoever holds the US strap to match, a champion vs. champion match. I don't care if it's Dolph Zigglar or Jack Swagger or anyone else. With that said, whoever the champion is at the time, "Sorry about your damn luck."

Upon completion of the interview WWE DOMINION completes another episode and goes off the air with the WWE logo.
