DOMINION Wrestling (Chris Jericho debuts)

As the theme song for DOMINION Wrestling concludes, Jim Ross begins this week's broadcast from the Discovery Channel.

Jim Ross begins, "From the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana, DOMINION Wrestling is on the air. Tonight the North American Championship tournament continues and LionHeart, Chris Jericho makes his wrestling debut here on the broadcast in our main event."

JBL adds, "I'm looking forward to seeing "The Best in the World at What He Does" in action tonight. I'm a huge Jericholic!"

JR finishes the opening segment, "Continuing in our new General Manager's edict, less talk and more action, let's get to business!"

"This next match is the final 1st round match for the North American championship. Introducing first, from Chicago Illinois, Colt Cabana!"

The extremely popular Cabana makes his way to the ring to his entrance music, "Anarchy."

"And his opponent, from Battle Creek Michigan, Rob Van Dam!"

As RVD's music, "The Whole F'N Show" plays, he comes to the ring in vintage RVD fashion to a huge pop from the fans in The Crescent City.

In an exciting match that last about 8 minutes, RVD hits his patented 5 Star Frog Splash to get the victory and advance to the next round of the tournament.

A commercial break featuring Mountain Dew, Subway, and finally from Lowe's Home Improvement stores.

Back from the break, JR quickly runs down the next round participants with a little background of each. As Ross speaks the graphics are displayed on the screen for the home viewers and on the JumboTron for the arena audience.

"Cowboy James Storm, 6'0 230 pouds vs. "The Monster" Abyss 6'8 350 pounds. Mr. Anderson 6'2 233 vs. Bobby Roode 6'0 230 pounds, RVD 6'0 237 pounds vs. Bobby Lashley 6'2 1/2 278 pounds and in a bye due to special circumstances via the General Manager, Sting at 6'2 252 pounds."

"This next match is a second round match for the North American Championship tournament. Introducing first, from Leipor's Port Tennessee "Cowboy" James Storm!"

Storm's entrance music "Sorry About Your Damn Luck" plays as the popular Storm makes his way to the ring with his beer bottle in hand taking a couple of drinks on the way to a huge pop.

Before the next opponent is introduced, we have a commercial from GEICO insurance, Wal-Mart, and 4Down Wrestling talking about their website of predictions, blogs and chat.

After the break the opponent for James Storm is introduced

"His opponent, from Toronto Ontario Canada, Bobby Roode!"


As Roode makes his way to the ring, James Storm eyes him, remembering how he turned on him months ago by crashing a beer bottle over his head.

Roode's music "Off the Chain" plays as he makes his way to the ring to a huge amount of heat.

General Manager Roddy Piper appears on the stage with a mic in hand. "Because of the odd number of participants in the second round, this match is now a Triple Threat match. Gentlemen your next opponent, from Battle Creek Michigan, Rob Van Dam!"

JBL and Jim Ross are shocked. JR states, Van Dam was just in action moments ago. "This is a shocking development!"

JBL agrees, "RVD is doing double duty tonight. He is going to be tested for sure."

The fans give Van Dam another huge pop as Bobby Roode is beside himself in the ring. He yells at Piper that "This is not fair!"

The Rowdy One, stands at the top of the stage and laughs. He joins JBL and JR at the announce table.

As the match begins, Piper talks into the headset, "After viewing the tape I have ruled that Mr. Roode acted in a controversial fashion in his match with sting a couple of weeks ago. I have decided that Sting will be in this tournament and that is why we have the odd number of participants."

After 15 minutes of a hard fought battle Bobby Roode piledrives RVD outside the ring and his his finisher "The Pay Off" on James Storm for the victory and advancing to the semi final round of the tournament.

Another commercial break with Pepsi, Pringles Potato Chips, The American Humane Society and Verizon Wireless.

After the break, before leaving the broadcast booth, Piper adds "Next week Bobby Roode will face Sting to determine who goes to the semi final round. Enjoy the rest of the show guys!"

JBL states, "Now it's time for our main event. I have looked forward to this match all night. Chris Jericho, a bonafide Hall of Famer in my book makes his wrestling debut with Dominion Wrestling."

JR agrees, "The wrestling worlds is aware of Jericho's credentials, cruiserweight champion, the first ever undisputed WWE Champion and multi time tag team champion."

JBL "Let's quit talkin, and get to some action!"

"introducing first, from Gainesville Georgia, "The Phenomonal" AJ Styles!"

AJ's music, "Get Ready to Fly" begins as he makes his way to the ring for the main event match.

"And his opponent, from Winnepeg Manitoba Canada....."Break the Walls Down" begins before the introduction is completed. Over the music the announcer continues, "introducing Y2J in his wrestling debut here on DOMINION, Chris Jericho!" The entrance music continues for almost another full minute. Suddenly, a huge explosion on the JumboTron blows and emerging on from the pyro smoke on stage is Chris Jericho!

The fans in the arena are cheering louder than ever for the returning superstar after a 2 year hiatus from wrestling.

The match will begin after this commercial break. Progressive Insurance, McDonald's and 5 Hour Energy.

After the break, the bell rings and Jericho quickly takes Styles down with a hip lock takedown. He is quick to his feet and hits a running knee that has AJ on the mat. Jericho leaps to the middle rope and bounces off with a "Lionsault" going for a cover. AJ easily kicks out but is stunned by Jericho's explosiveness.

Jericho attempts a "Walls of Jericho" but AJ blocks and hits a "Pele Kick" that stuns Jericho. Styles goes for a cover but Jericho's shoulder is up before the referee can begin the count. As Jericho gets to his feet, AJ hits a "Japanese Armdrag". As Jericho rises to his feet again, Styles greets him with a dropkick that sends him over the top rope to the floor below. AJ leaps over the top rope with a suicide dive crashing into Y2J. The referee begins his 10 count.

Suddenly, "Broken Dreams" begins to play and out comes the Dominion World Heavyweight Champion, Drew McIntyre. He stares intently at the two in the ring as we go to a commercial break.

We hear from Allstate Insurance, A & W Root Beer, T-Mobile and a lawyer telling us to call him if we have injuries from a car wreck.

Back from the break and we see that the champion, Drew McIntyre, is sitting at ringside watching the action.

AJ Styles and Chris Jericho continue to exchange holds with each other putting on a classic battle.

JR notes, "The match is about even at this point JBL."

JBL adds, "That is correct, but anything can happen in the time left, plus the intangible of having the champion at ringside could play an important role for the winner tonight."

Jericho gains an advantage after nailing a German Suplex. He goes for a cover but AJ manages to get a shoulder up at two. Jericho points at Drew McIntyre at ringside and says, "This is for you!" Jericho connects with a "Spinning Heel Kick," followed with a "Hurricanrana." After several kicks, Jericho rolls up Styles in a small package. AJ kicks out at two.

The champion does not say anything nor react.

As AJ gets to his feet Jericho dropkicks him into a turnbuckle. Jericho runs with a knee but AJ dodges. Jericho crashes and burns. Styles begins to work on the knee of Jericho by locking him in a "Figure 4 Leglock." After a brief struggle, Jericho manages to get his hand on the ropes, causing Styles to break the hold. Jericho is slow to his feet. AJ hits a leg sweep and locks in a "Boston Crab". Jericho struggles but pushes up with his arms to ease the pressure on his back and causes Styles grip to loosen enough for Jericho to escape the hold.

Jericho rolls out of the ring. AJ calls for him to return. Jericho sneers at AJ and waves him off. Jericho is walking up the ramp to the back! The fans are booing his action from Y2J! AJ chases after him and catches him halfway up. He turns him around and they begin to brawl on the ramp. Both make their way back to the ring. Jericho grabs a chair. He swings, AJ ducks, the chair hits the steel ring post.

Jericho is bodyslammed by AJ outside the ring.

We go to another commercial break featuring The Muppet Movie, AT&T u-Verse, Wal-Mart and Staples.

After the break, both men are back in the ring nearing exhaustion. More music begins to play. This time it is "Wings of a Fallen Angel." Christopher Daniels has come down to distract AJ Styles. Jericho takes advantage of the distraction and hits a low blow while the referee is ordering Daniels back to the locker room. AJ is down. Jericho hits Styles with a "CodeBreaker" and then applies the "Walls of Jericho" AJ valiantly tries to escape but cannot. He taps out at the 22 minute mark of the match.

"In his Dominion Wrestling debut, your winner, Chris Jericho!"

As Jericho is still in the ring, the World Heavyweight champion stands to his feet.

JR runs down the card for the Christmas Chaos PPV: "in the main event Chris Jericho faces World Heavyweight champion Drew McIntyre. Awesome Kong defends her DOMINION Ladies championship agains ODB. John Morrison takes on Carlito in a Falls Count Anywhere Match."

JBL continues the run down of the PPV, "We also will crown a North American champion when the final round takes place at Christmas Chaos. RVD takes on ROH champion Jay Lethal and in a special attraction match, from the number one rated realtiy show on Discovery, "The Deadliest Catch" the feuding captains Jonathon Hillstrand of the F/V Time Bandit takes on The F/V Wizard Captain Keith Colbern in a boxing match."

JR finishes the card, "And finally, Bryan Danielson takes on Mr. Anderson and Cowboy James Storm faces a mystery partner to be named that night."

As the broadcast partners conclude the card, the champion, Drew McIntyre is entering the ring with a mic in hand. Speaking in his Scotish accent, McIntyre says,

"Chris Jericho, you have been away from wrestling for 2 years. There is a new breed of wrestlers coming forth. Your time has come and gone. At Christmas Chaos I will show you why I am the "Chosen One" and I will leave as the DOMINION World Heavyweight Champion and you will leave with your tail between your legs a broken down shell of the man you once was!"

Chris Jericho takes the mic away from McIntyre, "At Christmas Chaos you will become a transitional champion, meaning are only keeping that belt warm for The Sexy Beast! Chris Jericho will take you to school and show you that I am The Best in the World at what I Do" and I will walk away as the NEW Heavyweight Champion of the World for DOMINION Wrestling!

JR closes the show, "Thank you for making DOMINION Wrestling the hottest new wrestling company in the United States. In 2012 we have a tour of Europe scheduled as we branch out to further the brand name to all points of the globe!
