TNA Impact Feb. 3 Episode (Random Thoughts)
Well....looks like "they" have arrived. They were Fortune turning on Immortal led by AJ Styles along with Beer Money Inc., and Kazarian. Their backup was Kurt Angle, Scott Steiner, Crimson and Mr. Anderson.
I have to say that I am pleased with the way TNA has finally turned the tables on Immortal. Once again AJ is appears to be a face but this time with his Beer Money Inc. and Kazarian as associates. It appears they will be teaming with Angle, Steiner, Crimson, and Anderson.
To be honest I was getting sick to death of seeing Immortal run roughshod week in and week out over the faces. Now (keeping my fingers crossed) Immortal will get what is coming to them for a change.
I loved the promo that AJ did, telling Bischoff he ran one million dollar wrestling company out of business and he was trying to run another out, but it was not happening. One of AJ best promos in quite some time (in my opinion.
I've been high on Robert Roode for some time. I think with the right push he could be a world champion in the near future. Looking forward to seeing that.
Still trying to figure this Crimson character out though. He's come out of no where. Not much do I know about him other than he's Amazing Reds brother (at least according to the story)
Not sure where Ric Flair is going to be with this Fortune turn. It will be interesting to learn whether he joins them or remains with Hogan and Bischoff.
The taped fist match between Serita and Mickie James was good. Seemed a bit stiff. Glad to see Mickie get a win though. Hope she gets that knockout championship soon. Tired of Madison Rain (or is it Reign) as champ.
Didn't really like the Jarrett segements tonight. I think bringing the kids into the picture is in poor taste. However, they seemed to have fun. I don't like the way this story is going. I really don't care for taking aspects of one's personal life and using it to sell tickets and get ratings, so I give a double thumbs down to this. Hope this plays out a lot sooner than later.

After being #1 in the 2010 people 500, AJ seemed to be buried beneath several other storylines. Most of which involved his fellow Immortal/Fortune members. I'm glad to see him back on top where he deserves to be. Hopefully, Flair will remain with Immortal to spark a mentor/pupil rivalry. Thought that the turn by Fortune last night was awesome. Something I think a lot of TNA fans on the internet at least...HAVE BEEN SCREAMING OUT FOR. So glad that Nash and Booker didn't come in now in hindsight. I mean, nothing against them but they've never really drawn for the company and thats something that I think escapes a lot of peoples attention when talking about how big they are and such.
