New Superstar to Begin on WWE programming
I have been reading about a new WWE superstar and during last nights (March 7) episode of RAW there was a viginette for Sin Cara. He is formerly known as Mistico. His given name is Ignacio Almanza and his date of birth is December 22, 1982. He trained by Tony Salazar, Dr. Karonte and Fray Tormenta and started his professional career on April 30, 1998.
Conseio Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) a Mexican wrestling promotion is where he has become known. He has held several titles while with the organization such as the CMLL World welterweight championship, Mexican lightheavyweight championship, NWA world middleweight championship, and the IWGP junior heavyweight championship and others.
I looked up the new name given to him by WWE, Sin Cara. It means "Without Face." This young superstar looks like he could be very exciting to watch. I'm looking forward to seeing some of his aerial manuevers. Don't know yet if they are going to portray him as a heel or babyface, but it should be interesting down the road.

Unfortunantly he doesn't speak English which means he can't promote which means he's card filler for me at best. This is just my guess but I think Vince is way overreacting to TNA these days. Here's why: 1) He brings in Booker and Nash even though he has no work for them. This broke up the return of the MEM storyline that they had planned to use. Consequently if you're one of those people who care about the upcoming releases this is where some of the cash went. 2) He signs Mustico. This is my guess but TNA just brought back Hernandez and I think Vince fears losing the Mexican crowd. So he adds another Mexican despite the fact that he's pushing the crap out of Del Rio and has Mysterio as well. 3) He signs Snooki. This is a really dumb move and I figure its to counteract the recent signing of lower cast members (JWOWW and Angelina Something) by TNA for their Shore storyline. Vince does not want the competition to get a cent of "his" money but he's making poor decisions in an attempt to block them out. I was looking forward to the debut of Sin Cara till I saw the promo. I would have thought it was a Rey Mysterio video if I hadn't already read that they would be debuting the video. Right down to the moves it looks like another Rey. I understand that Rey won't be in it a whole lot longer with his injuries but they could have given Sin a slightly different look. dare2believe Good point. Just from a marketing perspective I'd want him to wear a dragon mask or something more distinctive. Perhaps he will as I think I heard he has a wide variety of masks. His moves should at least be interesting the first few times but I don't know how they'll be able to use him long term.
