What's Up With That? (Tough Enough)
Thanks for tuning in to the post Wrestlemania epidode of "What's Up With That?" I'm Dare2believe and today, I'm asking the question you all want to know:
"What's Up With That?" To the brand new WWE reality series, Tough Enough.
Last night following RAW the WWE premiered their recreated series Tough Enough. This time around they are bringing in the big guns, trainers consist of Booker T, Bill DeMott and Trish Stratus. The show is hosted by none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Basically, it's the same format as other reality TV shows such as Big Brother and Survivor. Profanity laced drama! The only difference is that the winner alledgedly gets a WWE contract if they are "Tough Enough" to survive.
I believe they started with fourteen contestants both male and female. One claimed to have eleven years experience in wrestling but has "lost track" after having a baby and her modeling career took off. She had the audacity to wander about the "passion" for the business about the girl that was eventually eliminated. "What's Up With That?" She admitedly lost her way, but questions another one's passion, go figure.
The big guy with the afro, I believe his name was Eric Watts (not the son of Hall of Famer, "Cowboy" Bill Watts), reported for the show not in tip top shape. In the rope running segment his legs became like "spaghetti" and was near passing out when time expired. He clearly did not impress Stone Cold nor the other trainers. "What's Up With that?" Reporting out of shape to a sports themed/wrestling tryout show?
Amusingly, another one who was running the ropes lost his teeth. Stone Cold told him to get his teeth out of "my ring." I thought that was funny. This cat could go far in the show.
Back to the diva wannabee that was eliminated. When asked by Stone Cold about her favorite match in the WWE all she could think about was, Melina vs. Alicia Fox? Of allt he classic battles in the annals of WWE that was her favorite. She couldn't think about Andre vs. Hulk Hogan, Bruno Sammartino vs. Superstar Graham or Bret Hart vs. HBK, or The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels The Rock vs. Stone Cold? "What's Up With That?"
Miss USA pads her backside while running the ropes because she was sore? "What's Up With That?" You're in a wrestling program, seeking a WWE contract. This is certainly not a beauty contest. However, Booker T said, "if you cheat, you really want it." Classic Booker.
Overall, I enjoyed the show. I will tune in again next week and see what happens. Sure would love to hear your thoughts concerning Tough Enough. Hope you enjoyed this episode of "What's Up With That?"

there were a lot better What's up with that topics this week then Tough Enough I'm kinda disappointed. I wanted to see a What's up with that on The Rick vs Cena at WM 28 or What's up with That on Mysterio coming out like Captain America and Sheamus wearing USA ring Gear. those would hav been better. Tough Enough was a very enjoyable show. I'm going to watch the whole series, it's much better than Jersey Shore/Real World/ any other reality TV show. And THANK GOD Ariana left. Jersey Shore is better than it was because Snooki left. If Snooki comes to the WWE like she says she wants to.... I may have to watch TNA. I loved Tough Enough. *Kneeling position with hands together* God, I'm praying to you to not allow Snooki into the WWE. I beg of you. If you do, I will be very very unhappy and will have to become a TNA fan.
