WWE DOMINION (takeover fallout)

dare2believe

As WWE's newest program comes on the air, the GM of the show, Paul Heyman is in the center of the ring with a mic in hand. The show is coming to you from the United Center in Chicago Illinois in front of 11,653 fans who are there cheering on their favorite stars.

As Paul Heyman welcomes the fans to the show seen on the FOX Sports network he begins to speak about the events of the last week. "In our attempt to take over the Epsilon program we has a minor setback. Their GM used his talent and experience to maintain control of the show. However, with that said, we are using our success from the failed takeover attempt to launch DOMINION!"

The fans began to cheer.

Heyman continues, "In the PPV last week "Total Dominion" we proved to ourselves that we have a strong brand. With that said, WWE DOMINION is now on the air and ready to rumble!"

Joey Styles, the voice of DOMINION begins by introducing himself and his broadcast partner, Matt Stryker to the viewing audience. "Paul E. never accepts failure. He turned a negative into a positive. He is a true mastermind, Matt."

The former school teacher agrees, "I agree with you Joey, with Paul Heyman at the helm of this ship called DOMINION this show has no where to go but through the roof!"

The ring announcer begins introductions for the first match, "The first match of the evening is a LEGENDS match. Introducing first, former WWWF Heavyweight Champion, from Princeton, Minnesota, Bob Backlund! And his opponent from Memphis Tennessee, former AWA World Champion, Jerry "The King" Lawler!

Referee Charles Robbins calls for the bell and the two veterans lock up. Backlund suprises Lawler with a arm drag takedown.

Joey Styles reminds the TV viewers that Backlund has an extensive collegiate background in amauter wrestling.

Jerry Lawler rolls out of the ring breaking Backlund's momentum. In his zeal to get "The King" back into the ring, Backlund gets too close to the ring apron which enables Lawler to pull his feet in a leg sweep type manuever and drops him to the mat. He pulls him outside the ring and begins to pound him with his fists. He whips Backlund into the ring barrier in front of some fans.

After being admonished by the referee, the two find their way back into the ring before the ten count. They battle inide for several minutes both mixing it up with wrestling holds and brawling tactics.

The King bodyslams Backlund and sets him up for a piledriver. After nailing the piledriver on Backlund, The king goes for the cover and is victorious. The fans continue to cheer.

As DOMINION cameras set to break for commercial, Paul Heyman is seen talking on his cell phone.

The show returns after the 2 minute break with the ring announcer already making the announcement for the next match. "Your next match is a 10 man over the top rope battle royal. The following are your contestants: From Detroit Michigan Rick Steiner, from New York City, Devon Dudley, from Calgary Alberta Canada, David Hart Smith, from Franklin Tennessee, the newly signed Cowboy James Storm, from Marietta GA, Buff Bagwell, also newly signed to a WWE contract from Gainsesvill GA, AJ Styles, from Los Angeles, John Morrison, from Green Bay Wisconsin, Mr. Kennedy, from Othello Washington, Davey Richards and Chicago's own, Colt Cabana!"

The ref calls for the bell and the battle royal begins. Colt Cabana dropkicks Buff Bagwell, sending him over the top rope. Bagwell is first to be eliminated. Frustrated, at his quick exit he slaps the mat outside.

Devon Dudley and DH Smith are pounding each other in a corner while James Storm issues a double clothesline sending both Dudley and Smith to the floor below eliminating them.

Davey Richards and Colt Cabana are wrestling each other. Cabana goes to the top rope in a high risk move and leaps with a perfectly executed flying body press on Richards. Morrison delivers a running bulldog to AJ Styles while Rick Steiner and Mr. Kennedy battle in another corner of the ring. Richards hits Cabana with a elbow and is met with a Pele kick from Styles.

While stunned, Mr. Kennedy tosses Richards over the top rope, eliminating him. Turning to get another opponent Kennedy is met with a superkick from James Storm which sends him over the top and out of the ring and out of action.

AJ Styles charges Cabana but Cabana low bridges causing AJ to eliminate himself. Steiner attack Morrison but Morrison is faster than the veteran. Morrison hits Starship Pain on Steiner and while he's stunned, tosses him over the top rope and eliminating him from the match.

Left in the match are Colt Cabana, Mr. Kennedy and John Morrison.

Joey Styles says they will keep the cameras rolling in case there is a winner during the break. DOMINION goes to commercial featuring 5 hour energy and Allstate Insurance.

As the show returns we see Morrison whiping Mr. Kennedy into a turnbuckle and following him in with a running knee to the face. Colt Cabana delivers a running dropkick to the stunned Kennedy. Morrison catches Cabana and performs a spinning neckbreaker. Kennedy grabs Morrison and whips him into the ropes, and as he rebounds, Kennedy kicks him in the midsection and hits his finishing manuever, "The Mic Check" on Morrison. Kennedy grabs Morrison up and tosses him out of the ring.

Cabana hits his finishing manuever on Kennedy then tosses him out of the ring, but Kennedy hangs on and is not eliminated. Cabana turns his back to Kennedy thinking he is the victor. Kennedy tosses Cabana over the ropes, but Cabana hangs on without his feet touching the floor. He "skins the cat" and flips back into the ring to a surprised Mr. Kennedy. He races across the ring and dropkicks Kennedy over the top rope and thus winning the battle royal.

Joey Styles approaches Colt Cabana after the match, "Colt, now that you are here in the WWE and on DOMINION what is your goal?" Cabana takes the mic from Styles and says, "I am here for one thing and that is to have gold around my waist. Tonight was the beginning of my quest and soon you will see the name Colt Cabana etched into the championship belt and will be known as the top dog here on DOMINION!"

In women's action Beth Phoenix defeated Alicia Fox by a chicken wing submission.

In other fast paced action former Nexus and Corre members Heath Slater and Justin Gabriel battled to a double DQ when both refused to heed to the referees admonisions to break.

After another commercial break featuring Coors Beer and GoDaddy.com, we are back for the main event.

"Tonights main event, from the Isle of Samoa, the "Samoan Submission Machine," Samoa Joe! His opponent from Silsby TX, "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry!"

Matt Stryker notes that this is Samoa Joe's debut in the WWE after inking a deal last month.

Before the referee calls for the bell, the DOMINION general manager, Paul Heyman, comes out to the stage. "I do not want any controversy with the ending of this match. Therefore I have named a special enforcer to referee this match. Play his music...."

The arena lights go dark and the music begins..."I'm not your sexy boy" The enforcer is Shawn Michaels! Heyman continues, "I give you The Heartbreak Kid. Shawn Michaels!"

The fans go wild for "Mr. Wrestlemania" as he prances to the ring in a vintage sleeveless referee shirt. He high fives several fans at ringside as he makes his way to the ring. He poses in classic HBK style and them leaps to his feet. "The ShowStopper" calls for the bell and Mark Henry and Samoa Joe lock up. Henry clearly has the strength advantage as he tosses Joe easily away.

Joe is quickly back to his feet not intimidated by the larger and more stronger man. He charges head on at Mark Henry.

Mark Henry swats Joe with a club like forearm that stuns the Samoan. Henry grabs Joe in a bearhug and begins squeezing the air out of his lungs hoping for a submission. Joe is not so easily defeated. Joe punches Mark Henry in the ears and Henry breaks the hold. Joe rushes to the ropes and rebounds and hits a powerful shoulder block to Mark Henry's massive chest only rocking him briefly.

Joe charges the ropes again and delivers another shoulder block to Henry, this time Mark falls to the mat. Samoa Joe pounces on top of the stunned Mark Henry and begins pummeling him with lefts and rights. Shawn Michaels stans int he corner letting this go o n without attempting to make the mandatory five count.

Mark Henry finally gets to his feet and starts to mount a comeback. He traps Joe in the corner and pounds him. Michaels starts the five count. Mark Henry glares at HBK for his obvious partiality.

With the momentary distraction, Joe mounts another attack on the big man from Texas. Michaels makes an extremely slow five count, allowing Joe to draw blood from Mark Henry's head. Joe whips Henry into the ropes but as he rebounds, Henry offers a powerful clothesline to Samoa Joe. Henry goes for the cover and HBK half heartedly makes a slow three count, which allows Joe to kick out of the pin attempt.

Henry is full of rage. He stalks Michaels and corners him in a corner. Samoa Joe rolls Henry up from behind in a school boy, Michaels makes a quick three count, but Henry is able to kick out before he can get to three.

Samoa Joe and Mark Henry battle back and forth for 10 more minutes and Joey Styles tells everyone this is our final break of the night. We will be right back.

Commercials from GEICO and Progressive Insurance. Dorito's potato chips also runs their ad. We are back from the break.

After about 7 more minutes of fierce action Henry is clearly fatigued, not used to longer matches. Joe manages to execute a snap suplex on Henry. The World's Strongest Man counters for a brief rally. Henry climbs to the second rope, but Joe meets him and quickly hits his muscle buster suplex from the second rope. He goes for the cover and Shawn Michaels makes the count. One...two....three!

The ring announcer says, "You're winner, Samoa Joe!" Shawn Michaels lifts Joe's hand in victory signifying him the winner of the match.

Joey Styles starts to close out the show as he and Matt Stryker recap the matches tonight. Stryker sees something happening in the ring and asks the camera man to go back to the ring to check out what is happening.

Samoa Joe is celebrating in the ring but is given Sweet Chin Music by HBK as DX music "Break it Down" begins to play. The pyro goes off in the ring forming the smoke made X as the lights are turned to green.

HBK takes the mic, "I'm still the showstopper, the main event, Mr. Wrestlemania and I'm still DX at heart!"

Just as he finishes his statement, more music hits the and Motor Head's "Time to Play The Game" begins to play. Out comes the Chief Operations Officer of the WWE, Triple H. Hunter climbs into the ring in his suit and he and Shawn embrace in the ring.. Both began to DX crotch chop much to the fans delight.

Mark Henry is stirring on the mat and as he is rising Triple H executes a patented Pedigree on him. He crotch chops Henry and the two longtime friens play to the Chicago crowd to their delight.

As this continues WWE DOMINION goes off the air with the WWE logo in the corner of the TV screen.
