WWE DOMINION (Remembering 9/11)

Lilian Garcia opens the WWE DOMINION program by singing the national athem of the United States of America. As the thousands in attendance at "The World's Most Famous Arena" Madison Square Garden stand at attention, tears streaming down their faces as they remember the horrific events of 10 years ago when terrorists hijacked commercial airliners and crashed them into the Twin Towers, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennyslvania, killing thousands of innocent lives.

Joey Styles begins the broadcast, "Hello and welcome to WWE DOMINION! Tonight we are coming to you from historic Madison Square Garden. In this episode we are paying tribute to the policemen, firefighters and the thousands that gave their lives during the cowardly attacks upon our nation 10 years ago this week."

Styles broadcast collegue, Matt Stryker, adds, "That's right Joey, 10 years ago this week, our nation was attacked by members of a society of terrorists that wanted to bring America down. I proudly sit here tonight knowing in my heart that we may have been knocked down that terrible day, but we have risen to the occasion and several of the cowards have been captured, and killed since. I just want to say, God bless America!"

WWE DOMINION General Manager, Paul Heyman, makes his way to the stage with mic in hand. He begins, "Welcome to the World's Most Famous Arena" Madison Square Garden! This arena has hosted some of the greatest events in wrestling history and tonight is no exception! Tonight we have four matches that eventually will lead us to crowning our first ever DOMINION Heavyweight Champion. Each winner of those specific matches will compete in a Fatal Fourway at Night of Champions where the winner will become the champion of the DOMINION brand!

Joey Styles: "That's huge! The brand is only a few weeks old and we are already about to crown a champion. This brand is going forward to greater heights!"

Meanwhile, Lilian Garcia begins the introductions for the first contest. "From Franklin Tennessee, Cowboy James Storm!

Cowboy James Storm emerges from the back riding his beer scooter with a cold one in his hand. He makes his way to the ring swigging on his brew. Storms song, "Sorry About Y our Damn Luck" by Dale Oliver is playing. The fans are solidly anit-Storm.

"And his opponent from Gainesville Georgia, "The Phenomonal" A.J. Styles! "Get Ready to Fly" by GRITS begins to play as A.J. Styles comes to the ring with the fans clearly behind him.

Matt Stryker: "This match is a match of opposites. James Storm is a brawler and Styles is a high flyer. This match should be fun to all the fans and fun to call."

Referee Charles Robbins calls for the bell. Cowboy James Storm is quickly out of his corner and on the attack. He begins with a swift kick to A.J. Styles mid section and follows that with a devastating DDT. he goes for the quick pin, but Styles kicks out at two. The Cowboy whips A.J. into the ropes and hits him with a big boot to the face as he rebounds.

Storm continues with several high impact blows to "The Phenomonal One" for several minutes. Finally, Storm attempts to body slam Styles, but A.J. reverses it into a small package. He gets a two count because obviously, Storm is not worn down enough.

A.J. leaps to the second rope and uses it as a springboard to launch himself with a flying elbow that stuns Storm. Styles uses a series of wear down holds and manuevers, confusing the big Tennesseean. Styles hits a Fisherman's Suplex on Storm, but before he can go for the cover, the Cowboy rolls outside of the ring to regroup. A.J. runs across the ring and springs off the rope as he nears the original side where Storm is on the floor, he leaps over the top rope in a Flying Plancha crashing into James Storm. Storm hits the barrier as does A.J. The ref begins the mandatory ten count. Both men struggle to their feet but beat the count back inside the ring to continue the action.

Their struggle continues for about 10 more minutes passing the 20 minute mark. At this point, Storm makes a tactical error by missing a Running Clothesline. A.J. quickly turns and delivers his "Pele" kick followed by a Styles Clash on Storm. Styles goes for the pin. The ref makes the three count. A.J. Styles is your winner at the 23:15 mark of the match.

Joey Styles: "A.J. Styles becomes the first finalist to enter the Fatal Fourway at Night of Champions.!"

In Diva's action, Kelly Kelly successfully defends her WWE Diva's championship against Maryse in 8 minutes of great action.

In another mid card bout Justin Gabriel hits the 450 Splash on Chavo Guerrero to get his victory after 10 minutes of fast paced action. Gabriel becomes the second person to qualify for the Fatal Fourway at the upcoming PPV.

Heath Slater easily defeats a local pro wrestler in 3 minutes to get his victory Slater is the number three entrant to the Fatal Fourway.

Lilian Garcia begins the introductions for the final match of the evening: "From Chicago, Illinois Colt Cabana! As CM Punks long time friend makes his way to the ring to his music "Anarchy" by Peter Northcote and Lindsay Jehan the New Yorkers receive him with great fanfare.

"And his opponent from Green Bay Wisconsin, Mr. Kennedy!" As the Green Bay loudmouth makes his way to the ring to "Turn Up The Trouble" by Airboune, he pauses at the top of the stage, the vintage microphone is lowered and he takes it in hand, "Standing 6'2 and weighing 242lbs from GREEN BAY WISCONSIN, MR. KENNEDY" he pauses for five seconds and then repeats, "KENNEDY" reemphasizing his last name.

The referee, Mike Chioda, calls for the match to commence.

Cabana and Kennedy lock up. Cabana drops to his knees and hits a Fireman's Carry takedown on Kennedy. He floats over and locks an Ankle Lock on Titletown USA. Kennedy makes it to the ropes forcing a break.

Kennedy gets to his feet favoring his left ankle. Cabana charges Kenned and hits a spinning heel kick sending Kennedy to the mat. Cabana quickly reapplies the Ankle Lock. Kennedy twists his body around and is able to kick Cabana away with his other leg. Damage has been done.

Mr. Kennedy struggles to his feet and his quickly met with a back Elbow Smash to his face by Colt Cabana. Kennedy exits the ring to gather himself and get his ankle to loosen up. Cabana launches through the second rope with a double chop to Kennedy's chest, causing him to crash hard into the ring barrier. He grabs Kennedy and slams his head into the steel steps.

After another attempt with the steps, Kennedy gets his foot on the step, blocking Cabana's attempt. He then reverses it and smashes Cabana's head into the steps. Cabana's head nicks the corner of the steps and there is a cut on his forehead. He is bleeding.

Kennedy rolls Cabana back into the ring and begins to work him over with elbows and knees. He takes him to each turnbuckle and smashes his head into each, opening the cut up even more.

Matt Stryker remarks, "This doesn't look good for Cabana. The referee may have to consider stopping the match."

Mr. Kennedy whips Cabana into another corner and runs in to hit a Running Clothesline which connects. Kennedy hits a Vertical Suplex on Cabana and goes for a pin. Cabana manages to get one shoulder up avoiding the defeat.

The former United States Champion, Kennedy, goes to hit his patented "Mic Check" finisher on Cabana, but Cabana holds on to the ropes and blocks it. Kenedy hits the mat. Cabana quickly goes for a pin while Kennedy is stunned, but Kennedy manages to get his foot across the bottom rope. The referee sees it and stops his count.

Colt Cabana is weak from loosing blood and is growing fatigued. Kennedy senses this and hits a Spear on the Chicago Superstar. He goes for the pin, but Cabana also drapes his foot across the bottom rope ending the count.

Kennedy grabs his head in frustration. He yells at Cabana, "Stay down!!!" Cabana continues to struggle and gets to his feet, though he is not stable. Kennedy delivers a Dropkick sending Cabana over the top rope. Kennedy follows him out of the ring and attacks him out there. Before the 10 count he rolls him back into the ring thinking victory is near.

Cabana uses the ropes to get to his feet but sees Kennedy charging at him. He manages to avoid him while Kennedy crashes into the corner. Cabana hits a reverse Neckbreaker on Kennedy. He climbs to the top rope and performs his finishing manuever, a Springboard Moonsault. He hits Kennedy square in the chest and goes for the win. The referee makes the three count and the winner after almost 30 minutes of action is Colt Cabana.

Joey Styles: "We now have our main event for Night of Champions. A Fatal Fourway featuring Colt Cabana vs. Heath Slater vs. Justn Gabriel vs. A.J. Styles!"

Matt Stryker: "Other matches will be made later this week, but this main event has Match of the Year written all over it."

The WWE pays tribute to all the NY Firefighters and Policemen that lost their lives in the attacks of September 11, 2001. A video tribute is played on the Titan Tron.

News footage of the attacks are shown causing a silence throughout the arena. Then footage of the Saddam Hussein capture airs which brings some cheers. Then the news of Bin Laden's death and the house goes crazy! The fans rejoice as "God Bless America" is sang by Lilian Garcia.

WWE DOMINION fades away to a flag rippling in the wind on the 'Tron. The words, "We will never forget" scroll across the screen as the program leaves the air.
