DCW: Road to WrestleFest

The flagship program of The Pro Wrestling Network, DCW, is beginning its weekly broadcast. As the top of the hour strikes, the pyro explodes and the thousands of fans in attendance begin to cheer as highlights of the DCW superstars are shown in the opening credits. Jim Ross and JBL are at the announce table ready to open the show.

Jim Ross: "The Road to WrestleFest continues as we eminate to you from The Ocean Center in Daytona Beach Florida. Tonight, the DCW World Champion, The Rock will address his WrestleFest opponent, CM Punk tonight!"

JBL: "We also have a lot of great wrestling action tonight JR and more WrestleFest matches will most likely be made tonight. Matt Stryker is at ringside ready for the introduction of our first match."

Matt Stryker: "The Road to Wrestlemania continues with the following DCW women's world championship number one contender's match. Introducing first, from Richmond VA, the former DCW Women's champion, Mickie James!" The fans give Mickie heat as she has taken to a more darker personality since losing the women's championship a couple of weeks ago. "And her opponent, from the Fiji Islands, the daughter of Hall of Famer, Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka, Tamina!" As the second generation wrestler makes her way to the ring, she is given a decent pop.

The bell rings and the two women hook up. Mickie starts off aggressive with a series of punches. She whips Tamina into the ropes and as she rebounds, Mickie hits her with the Thez Press and begins to pound on Tamina with lefts and rights until the referee has to literally pull her back. Mickie glares at the ref and kicks Tamina in the knee. Mickie applies an ankle lock and then grapevines the leg. Tamina has no where to go because she is in the center of the ring. She struggles, but cannot escape. Tamina taps out.

Stryker: "Your winner and new number one contender for the DCW women's championship Mickie James!" The fans give her heat. Stryker continues: "The match will take place at WrestleFest!" Mickie smirks and blows kisses to Stryker and Tamina who is still down on the mat holding her knee.

Backstage, Bobby Roode, Drew McIntyre, Flame and Kevin Nash are talking about what they plan on doing tonight. McIntyre: "When will he be revealing himself as our leader?" Nash: "It has been my experience when we formed the nWo several years ago that when it's least expected that is the best time." Roode: "DCW is not going to know what hit them when they are blindsided with this revelation."

COMMERCIAL BREAK

JR: "Looks like DCW's dark cloud is getting darker JBL."

JBL: "I know JR, it seems there is some sort of mystery backer and that is what worries me."

Matt Stryker: "The following match is for the DCW Cruiserweight Championship. Introducing first, from Detroit MI, Alex Shelly!" As the former Motor City Machine member makes his way to the ring he is getting some cheers. "And now, the defending DCW Cruiser weight champion, Colt Cabana!" As the Chicago native makes his way to the ring, he receives a big pop.

The match begins and the two cruiserweights start out with a quick pace. Cabana takes Shelly down with a quick Japanese Arm Drag and as he gets back up, hits a dropkick to his opponent. Shelly rolls out of the ring and Cabana launches himself over the top rope with a flying body press outside the ring.

The fans begin to chant, "DCW, DCW, DCW!"

JR: "Don't close your eyes fans, this match is at the speed of light!"

Outside the ring, Cabana has Shelly up and hits a running powerslam on the arena floor. Cabana climbs to the ring apron and sets himself. As Shelly gets to his feet, Cabana runs across the apron and leaps with a double flying knee drop that puts Shelly down outside again. Cabana is back in the ring as the referee begins his mandatory 10 count.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Back from the break, JR: "Alex Shelly made it back into the ring just before 10 fans, and the match is continuing with the champion continuing to dominate his challenger."

Cabana attempts to whip Shelly into the turnbuckle, but Shelly reverses it and whips him instead. Shelly follows the champion in with a running corner dropkick that knocks all the wind out of Cabana. Shelly drops Cabana with a DDT and goes for a cover. One....two...Cabana kicks out!

Shelly pulls the champion up and hits a standing dropkick. The challenger grabs the champion and tosses him over the top rope and he launches himself over the top rope with a senton splash. Shelly slams Cabana's back into the ring apron and then smashes his head into the steel steps. Cabana gets a cut over his eye from the steps. Shelly whips Cabana into the ring barrier and delivers a running knee to the side of the head. Cabana's head slams into the ring barrier from the impact of the knee. Shelly climbs back into the ring as the referee starts the 10 count.

The Cruiserweight champion just beats the 10 count back into the ring as Shelly rolls him up into a Small Package. Cabana kicks out at two. Shelly hits another DDT and climbs to the top rope and hits a Frog Splash and goes for a cover. Cabana gets a leg across the rope breaking the count.

The fans renew their chant, "DCW, DCW, DCW!"

COMMERCIAL BREAK

Back from the break and the challenger continues to punish the champion. He has him in a rear naked choke. Cabana struggles and manages to flip his body over causing Shelly to loosen the hold. Cabana struggles to his feet and Shelly attempts a hurricanrana, but Cabana blocks it and its a sit down powerbomb. Cabana applies the Anaconda Vice submission. Shelly taps quickly.

Stryker: "Your winner and still the DCW Cruiserweight champion, Colt Cabana!"

The sound of shattering glass! The interim GM of DCW, Stone Cold Steve Austin comes out to the stage to a huge pop.

Stone Cold: "Congratulations champ on a hard fought victory. I have an opponent scheduled for you at WrestleFest, but I want to see how you do without knowing who it will be. So you have a mystery opponent for your Cruiserweight championship at WrestleFest 2012. Good Luck champ!"

Colt Cabana looks puzzled by the news, but accepts the news graciously and leaves the ring with his championship draped over his shoulder.

Mr. America is seen walking toward the ring as we go to commercial break.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

As we come back from commercial break, Mr. America is in the ring with a mic.

Mr. America: "You know, I have always tried to do what is right and defend this United States championship with honor and dignity. But recently, some people attacked me and tried to put me on the shelf. That was a cowardly attack and I plan on getting them back. I know it was one or more of these so called Elite World Order members. So if I have to take on one at a time and take them out, I will do just that, but make no bones about it, they will pay and they will be stopped!"

As Mr. America finishes, the EWO members come out on the stage in full force. Nash is the spokesman.

Kevin Nash: "Mr. America, do you think that it is only the four of us? How foolish are you champ! This force extends far beyond DCW. In fact, our sister company GCW has some EWO members as well and that company has their own issues. The EWO has a long arm, in fact, we are even gaining momentum in some independent circuits as well."

Bobby Roode: "Champ, I just want you to know this. It was me that took you down recently. You see, champ, I'm not afraid of you because Canadians fear no one from the USA. At WrestleFest, it's you and I for that title of yours and when I defeat you, I will take that championship and dump it in the Hudson River because your title means nothing to me. I just want to humiliate you and your country because It Pays To Be Roode!"

Mr. America is furious. He accepts the challenge.

Mr. America: "Hey Roode! Let's do this match at Wrestlemania in a cage so that you cannot escape and your cronies cannot help you. What do you say Roode? Let's do it!"

Roode's eyes are wide. He screams "NO!!!!"

Stone Cold appears on the JumboTron. "I like that idea. That settles it. The WrestleFest match between Bobby Roode and Mr. America for the United States championship will be in a steel cage. The only way to win is by pin fall or escaping the cage! And that's the bottom line because Stone Cold said so!!!!"

Matt Stryker: "We have a match scheduled as well at this time. Mr. America will defend his United States Championship against this man, from Gainesville GA, "The Phenomonal" AJ Styles!"

After Styles gets a decent pop he is in the ring. Mr. America and AJ are friends, but Mr. America is still furious at Roode and the EWO.

JR: "This match will be seen in its entirety right after this break."

COMMERCIAL BREAK

PROMO: The Road to WrestleFest 2012 ends at the World Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden in two weeks. Don't miss this wrestling extravaganza as the DCW World Champion The Rock takes on the GCW World Champion, CM Punk in a unification match. Cruiserweight Champion Colt Cabana defends this belt against a mystery opponent and Women's champion, Kelly Kelly defends against the former champion and number one contender Mickie James. Some GCW championships will be defended as well and there will be a elimination tag match for control of DCW when the members of the EWO take on a team representing DCW. The Hall of Fame class of 2012 will be announced at WrestleFest 2012. Don't miss this supershow!"

Back from the break and we are ready for action. Mr. America locks a headlock on AJ Styles and takes him down. Mr. America drops a knee into AJ's side. He pulls his challenger up and hits a running powerslam on the "Phenomonal One". Mr. America pulls his opponent up and whips him into the turnbuckle and follows him in with a Stinger Splash. Mr. America attempts a DDT, but AJ holds on to the top rope and Mr. America hits the mat. AJ climbs to the top rope and hits a double knee drop into the chest of Mr. America.

AJ sets Mr. America for the Styles Clash, but Mr. America blocks it with a backdrop. Mr. America drops a legdrop across the throat of AJ and locks him in his Indian Death Lock. AJ taps out.

Stryker: "Your winner and still the United States Champion, Mr. America!"

The fans chant, "USA, USA, USA!"

JR: "The DCW World Champion addresses his WrestleFest 2012 opponent next."

Back from the break, we see The Rock arriving in a long black limo. He emerges with his DCW World championship belt across his shoulder as we go to commercial break.

COMMERCIAL BREAK

After the break, the sound system starts out, "if you smell what The Rock is cooking!!!" The fans break out into a loud cheer as their champion comes out on to the stage and scans the arena. The Rock makes his way to the ring and is handed a mic. He stands in the ring, raises the famous eyebrow and smiles. He holds the mic to his mouth and says, "FINALLY, THE ROCK HAS COME BACK TO DAYTONA BEACH!!!!"

The fans break out into a "Rocky, Rocky, Rocky" chant.

"The Rock faces CM Punk at WrestleFest 2012 in a title unification match. The Rock has been in these type matches before and had a setback when Chris Jericho defeated both The Rock and Stone Cold Steven Austin in one night to become the unified champion over in the WWE. The Rock has been thinking about this all this time and The Rock wants to show the world that that was a fluke and The Rock will unite these titles at WrestleFest! If you smellllll what the Rock is......"

The Rock is interrupted by "Cult of Personality". CM Punk comes out to the stage.

CM Punk: "Rocky, Rocky, Rocky, tsk, tsk, tsk. You talk mighty big up there in that ring with your sunglasses on your bald head and that eyebrow raised in vintage Rocky fashion. Let me tell you something Dwayne, may I call you Dwayne? Of course I can! When WrestleFest comes around in less than two weeks you will once again lose your DCW World championship and I will unify the two championships and I will prove to you that I am the best in the world!

Rocky: "CM Punk, do you actually think....."

Punk: "Actually yes I do think...."

Rocky: "It's doesn't matter what you think! The Rock says you are going down at WrestleFest and The Rock will become the unified champion! If you smell what the Rock is cooking!"

The DCW logo appears on the screen as Dominion Championship Wrestling closes another broadcast on The Pro Wrestling Network.
