Current roster thoughts: RAW

I do this periodically, a summing up of everybody on the roster and how they could be used or whether they should stay on the same path. We'll start with RAW.

RAW

Alex Riley- While he's the henchman to the top dog on RAW, he's nothing more than a glorified jobber, but seeing as he's a former FCW champion, I'm sure the WWE have big plans for him, hopefully a dramatic split and then a US title opportunity.
CM Punk- The best leader of Nexus to date and always a crowd drawer, but I'm a little upset that he is in a losing feud with Randy Orton. Hopefully, another world title run with the Nexus at his side.
Daniel Bryan- Wasn't the greatest US champion and I can see why he's been demoted to the midcard, but now I just can't see him getting out of the Midcard. I don't think he'll stick around forever, and I can see him going back to RoH.
David Hart Smith- Currently a jobber, but despite his talent, I can't really see anyway of getting him back up. Coul have a few Tag Team title runs left though if he finds a partner.
David Otunga- A member of Nexus, but once Nexus disbands, I don't think Otunga will do much. He doesn't have the talent to escape the midcard, but his celebrity gimmick could
provide him with a few title shots in the future.
Dolph Ziggler- Very talented and is a proven champion, but he doesn't have the marketability to become much better than the Upper Midcard, despite his Main Event matches.
Evan Bourne- Another talented indy star who just doesn't have the look of a champion. I don't think he'll be a mainstay in the WWE.
Goldust- Currently has a shoulder issue, but is too old to compete at any good level. He might come back for the odd backstage skit and the odd match.
The Great Khali- His Punjabi Playboy gimmick has really killed Khali and I don't think he has much of a career left in the WWE with his gigantism meaning he would have a short career anyway.
Jerry 'The King' Lawler- Still wrestling at a good level to this day, and I really enjoy his matches, especially his two TLC matches with The Miz. Will win the war with Michael Cole and go back to commentating, hopefully with JR.
The Uso's- Have really been wasted as a tag team talent, but they're young, so have the potential to improve and maybe later on, become tag team champions.
John Cena- The most consistent main eventer on RAW looks as if he'll continue the trend this year as he continues to garner fans everywhere he goes.
John Morrison- Overdue a World title run, but I don't think he's marketable or charismatic enough, which is unfortunate as he has the talent to hold the title well.
Mark Henry- Despite his loyalty to the WWE, he hasn't won anywhere near enough titles as deserved, so I hope he can get one US title run before retiring.
Mason Ryan- One of the young talents on RAW. He is a former FCW champion, but I don't think he has the talent to do well in the WWE, so when Nexus disbands, he'll be released.
Michael McGillicutty- Has a lot of talent and has a famous father, so I can see him hold a title or two in his career. Will be one of the Nexus members to stay on when they disband.
The Miz- A very good WWE champion, and I think he has a bright future ahead of him. He's already won the Triple Crown and I think he can win more as he goes on.
Primo- Very talented athlete, but without Carlito at his side, he's just a jobber that thinks he can pull off being a heel. A face turn might allow another Tag Team title run, but it might also keep him on Superstars.
Randy Orton- Is another consistent Main Eventer, and is only 31, so can still win another 5 World titles in his career. Hopefully, will be drafted to Smackdown to help out their thin roster and go for the World title there.
R-Truth- Now a heel, I see a future ahead of him, but he'll never be a World champion, only the US or even Intercontinental if he gets drafted to Smackdown.
Santino Marella- Is only a comic character, but I can still see a few more joke title reigns given out to him as he does have some talent. Needed to win the Royal Rumble in my opinion.
Sheamus- Current US champion and King of the Ring, I think he'll continue his successes and will win another World title before he retires.
Sin Cara- In only 3 weeks of action, Sin Cara has reached the Main Event, and I definitely think he'll be the man that beats Sheamus for the US title, as he already has a huge following. Will be as successful as Rey Mysterio if they give him a finisher that can be hit at any time, eg RKO, Sweet Chin Music.
Skip Sheffield- Still injured, but he has a lot of promise for maybe the Nexus's enforcer or even The Corre's. However, he lacks that little bit of talent, so I can't see him having too much success.
Ted DiBiase- Is a huge talent and has a famous father, but the WWE seem reluctant to push him. I think he should be drafted and then maybe go after the Intercontinental title just to add some momentum to his career.
Triple H- Is a living legend, but with his executive power, he'll only return to the ring sporadically, which is a shame as he always draws the crowd and puts on good matches.
Tyson Kidd- In my eyes, the most talented jobber. He desperately needs a few big victories and a push to a title, but I don't see much marketability in him, so he might jump ship to independent promotions.
Vladimir Kozlov- Kozlov is a funny one to comment on as he lacks the talent to be a champion, but he has the look of a champion. It's 50-50 whether he'll make it in the WWE, as he's been at the very top and the very bottom.
William Regal- He's too old to fight for a title now, but he could still put on clinics. However, as NXT commentator, which seems to be going well, Regal seems content to let others have the spotlight.
Yoshi Tatsu- A very talented wrestler that needs a push. After winning the WrestleMania Battle Royal last year, I thought he'd receive a push, but he's still a jobber even now, which is dissapointing. Needs to be the next US title challenger, even though he'd lose.
Zack Ryder- Can't really see a future in him, but he has won the Tag Team titles here, so he can say he's done more than Kaval, who's a better wrestler.

That's my thoughts on the future of RAW, so I'll have Smackdown up in a few days.
