5TH STAR: @Wrestlezone.com is reporting a discussion between WWE, WWE OFFICALS and Michael Cole due to his bad/put-down commentary. It's reporting that his commentary part of putting down and descriminating the babyfaces of the company is not helping but, instead is making the rating for the WWE shows he appears on like RAW and Smackdown low , with NXT Rating very low due to the season lasting too long and being so-called "too boring" WWE Ratings need to be boosted.

I hadn't heard that plan for Del Rio but I can't say I'm surprised. Vince is reportedly frustrated with his inability to get ADR over with the crowd. His latest theory is that he does not come off as mean or vicious enough. Hence the promo from Monday where ADR promises to come back with a mean streak. Personally I think they crippled his character when they wrecked his destiny angle at WM and then moved him off SD where he belongs. He's always felt a bit forced into the RAW roster, a bit like a 3rd wheel. Cole is a scapegoat I had not heard for the ratings. The ones I heard about were Ryder/Punk. Ryder is allegedly being punished by being inserted into some romance angle with Eve that will run for weeks. For Punk there was talk of taking the belt off of him sometime around last weekend. That could still happen (probably b/c of a certain returning superstar on 1/2) but I thought he rekindled some momentum in front of his home crowd this past Monday and his position is pretty safe. For Cole he is widely despised but that's sort of his job as a heel announcer. Personally I thought he was a lot better before he got to be so overbearing so I guess he could be hurting ratings a bit. I'm sure someone else will mention this but I think you should put notes from tapings that are yet to air in the SPOLIERS section. Good stuff though.
