4down Hall of Fame - Q&A - NeedRepairs

This is my interview with NeedRepairs. This is the last chance for them to win you over and get you to vote for them to be the first inductee into the 4down Hall of Fame.

How did you come across this site?
After I became a regular at The /wooo/ World Order's image board, I noticed a thread that had the league's user rankings for this thing I'd never heard of called Fourdown. I was curious about it, so I did some investigation and soon came upon this site. Thought the whole prediction contest idea was freaking brilliant, so I gave it a shot and ended up sticking around for a few years.

What's your first memory of this site?
Judgment Day 2008 was the first show I made predictions for and I actually got to attend it live. I was a huge fan of Miz & Morrison and I was psyched when I heard they were on the card, but I predicted that they'd lose to Kane & CM Punk. Well they ended up winning, which I was really happy about and was applauding louder than most anyone in the arena over, but at the same time I was cursing the fact that my chance for a perfectly predicted Fourdown card was ruined. I blame Miz

What's your best memory of this site?
I'd have to say stealing the Overall Prediction Game victory in Season 7. Wrestlemania 26 was the last show to be scored for that season and I was in like 6th place leading up to it, so I'd written off any chance of winning. Went to watch the show with some other peeps that night and I figured I did okay. Knew I got the Money in the Bank and the Punk/Mysterio winners wrong, as well as some other things. I was proud as hell that I picked Jericho retaining over Edge though. Then I got home, checked the results, and saw that I'd somehow outscored everyone ahead of me by enough to jump into 1st place. I could NOT believe it! Then a week later the season was over and I was unexpectedly Fourdown's first two-time...two-time Overall Prediction Game Winner!

What's your funniest memory of this site?
The first time I read something written by DashingChuggsRhodes. Seriously, somebody get Fourdown's creative team to push this man

How often do you log into the site?
I check in usually a couple times a day, whether it be for prediction game updates or to enter data for 4-UP. Sometimes just to stalk cletus

What's your favourite thing about the site?
The prediction games and 4-UP. Like I said in the last round, they give me a reason to care about matches that I otherwise wouldn't take an interest in. I may not care about a Great Khali vs. JTG match, but I do when I've got either of them picked for my 4-UP undercard that week

What do you think of the other 2 finalists?
Well NeedRepairs knows about mitch and wwefan and NeedRepairs thinks they're both cool guys. He sees wwefan entering data into 4-UP for almost every show and he knows he's been doing it for a long time. It's not always fun, but somebody's gotta do it! As for mitch, NeedRepairs knows he does a lot of the fantasy blogging and he knows there's some Fourdown users that really dig that stuff, and that's cool indeed! NeedRepairs is all for bringing entertainment to the people!

Why do you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?
Why, you ask, should NeedRepairs be in the Hall of Fame? *ahem* Because he is the two-time...two-time Overall Prediction Game Winner! Because he is the two-time...two-time 4-UP Fantasy Game Winner! Because he is the first and only holder of the Fourdown Grand Slam! Because he is 2nd place in all-time prediction game points behind only cletus himself! Because he is a truly dedicated 4-UP data administrator! And because he is a man who loves his league, and a man who loves Fourdown

What will you do if you are the first inductee?
Well you see, if NeedRepairs is the first inductee into this Hall of Fame, he's going to have a party and ALLLLLL of the Fourdown Universe is going to be invited! We're going to have some pie, we'll have some champagne (and some root beer for the minors), we'll invite Jillian Hall to sing for us, we'll have DashingChuggsRhodes provide some grooming tips, we'll invite Robbie E and Zack Ryder to teach us how to do fist pumps, we'll bring in Justin Bieber for blake, and we'll all have a hell of a celebration! NeedRepairs would be honored if the people voted him in as the first inductee of this Fourdown Hall of Fame
