4Down Weekly Episode 3

The theme tune rolls (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RfCPJe8OxAc&feature=g-upl) and the audience cheers as they get ready for BingBong’s 4Down Weekly, Bigger and Better than ever! As the music dies down the voice over says, “Now Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, People of all ages, please put your hands together for your host, the guy that put’s the Bing in BingBong, it’s………BINGBONG!” The audience cheer and BingBong runs out onto the stage to the music of The Hardy Boys and plays to the crowd as the noise calms.

“FINALLY, FINALLY! BINGBONG HAS COME BACK TO MANCHESTER! Thank you very much. Welcome everyone to the world of 4Down Weekly, for those regular readers out there it’s a welcome back and for those of you newbies I have one question…Where have you been? I’ll tell you, you’ve been missing the greatest show on Fourdown. Anyway, on tonight’s episode we have a brand new feature on the show that I will be running each week (more about that later) and we also have all the regular updates from the correspondents and a Blast from Fourdown’s Past. But first let’s hear from DangerousDan. ”

PREDICTION GAMES CORRESPONDENT

A feed shows DangerousDan in a studio elsewhere.
Are you ready? This week I'm going to address D-X ... Destination X that is. A couple notes:
1) Has Austin Aries really traded in his X-Division title in vain? The Fourdown Universe sure seems to think so and I'm inclined to agree. There is a chance that Aries wins the title and quickly loses a rematch but I doubt that they would do that to him (although it’s happened to James Storm). I know he's on a 1-year contract and they might want to throw him a bone but it’s hard not to think that we're heading for a Roode/Storm BFG showdown. Putting the belt on Aries now seems like a pointless diversion.
2) Who will win between Styles and Daniels this time? Assuming it’s a clean match then Styles wins of course but what if some terrible actress were to get involved? You know some actress whose character may or may not be the mother of AJ's secret child. Since I think that some shenanigans are likely I'd probably lean towards Daniels for this one. On a side note I've got this weird feeling that the father of the child will eventually be revealed to be Serge, Dixie's husband. We know it can't be AJ and there really isn't anyone else involved in the plot (unless they dig up another gem at the acting agency). Not really sure how that pertains to the prediction but make of it what you will.

The report finishes and the cameras are back at the studio with BingBong, “Now
Ladies and Gentlemen let’s have a look at how the competition is going, unfortunately not great.” The crowd applauds and a screen is shown next to BingBong with names and points written on there.

COMPETITION TIME
“Right, the question last week was,

WHAT WAS THE DATE OF THE FIRST EVER TAG TEAM LADDER MATCH AND WHO WON IT?

And it was scored by giving one point for a correct answer (for both parts) and the first five correct comments got an extra point and the first five correct PMs got two extra points. As we can see from this scoreboard, there was only one person to get points this week. So congratulations to Jimsta you are in the lead with 3 points, well done!”
There is some cheering and applauding.
“The thing that disappoints me is that he was the only one that sent in an answer; remember if you win you have the opportunity to host your own segment on this show every week. I hope that more people will participate in the future. That brings me on to this week’s challenge…

For this simply write your storyline of no more than 200 words just as a summary spanning at least one PPV. Be detailed but you don’t need to write out full matches or segments. In terms of points, you will get one for participation and the best 3 will win a bonus two points. Enjoy.”
Again the audience applauds as BingBong speaks, “Gosh I hope we get more participation otherwise we may have to end it. Now before we discuss anything else let’s hear from our Fantasy Correspondent, brandoni998.”

A report shows brandoni998 telling us about the world of fantasy on Fourdown.
“My name is Brandoni998 and I am live to give you this week’s Fourdown Weekly: Fantasy Rundown! This week, we saw the introduction of a new show. LLWE run by radschord89. LLWE consists of a unique roster.

This roster isn't like your normal fantasy show roster consisting of WWE/TNA/ROH Stars. This is a roster of new guys that haven't made an impact in the business yet. Therefore, I applaud radschord89 for his amazing concept.
And in other news, WWE NXT Made its debut, Gamma and Alpha produced again, GCW flourished, Wrestlefest 2012 Dominated, and many many more blog shows were great . Now back to you, BingBong!

The cameras go back to BingBong sitting on the sofa in the studio.
“Thank you for that, now to continue tonight’s show let’s get on with the Blast from the Past."

There is some applause as the voice over announces, “Now it is time for a Blast from the Past and this week features something from the Fourdown archives”

BLAST FROM THE PAST

This week’s ‘Blast from the Past’ features the legendary show, Big Bubba.

“Unfortunately I was not around for the first season of this but I wish I had been because this was a truly fantastic concept. I would like to extend all credit to Mitch176 for this idea and thank jmt5887 for continuing it when mitch had to stop. It involved writing from members of Fourdown and if you haven’t read it before it is definitely worth a look. It was a shame when this broke down and had to stop because I genuinely think it was amazing and I know many of the Fourdown universe thought so too. I am happy that Jimsta is starting to get something similar going but more about that later.”

The crowd cheers and woops as a video relives the greatest moments of Big Bubba. After this music rolls and we go to a report from Mitch176 our site banter correspondent.

SITE BANTER CORRESPONDENT
“Well ladies and Gentlemen it is time for you all to indulge in the greatness that is me once again, and yes I'm here to bring you your weekly dose of arguments, discussions and general bitchiness from the week.
The first thing up this week is actually coming from last week’s episode, where our resident Fantasy Section Correspondent, brandoni998 took some heat for only talking about his own show during his segment. Talk about a narrow audience, it seemed like the guy was using his segment as a massive plug. which others picked up on, only Brandoni came back saying that nothing else newsworthy had happened throughout the week... I believe this begs the question as to whether he actually read the other shows, but that's just my opinion. Anyway, expect to see more from him this week to avoid the heat.
Now for this next bit I may be crossing over into brandoni998's territory here, but considering he's involved I think I'll cover it just in case.
TDWOwner was crowned the new Fourdown (Jimsta's World Fantasy Writing "champion", and not wanting to be kept out of the spotlight Prodigy and Brandoni immediately put their names in the hat for a shot at taking him down. Thus Brandoni seems to have broken up the little bromance he shared with TDWOwner (How many Bromances have we seen now in Fourdown history? Cookie to the person who can answer that question correctly). But back to the subject, Brandoni says Prodigy has done nothing to earn the shot (Really?) and Prodigy says TDWOwner can't stick to a show for more than 2 weeks (Well, ye, kinda true), but really when all is said and done they're all writers, some better than others, they don't need a title to know that. Unsurprisingly the Non-Fantasy champion garnered less attention, despite delivering on the whole more interesting blogs in one's opinion... But hey, non-fantasy just isn't "down with the kids" anymore.
One final thing before I go, Brandoni998 made it a hat rick this week by seemingly infuriating Slicedcheese about his show, stating that his feuds were lacking and essentially telling him how to write his show. Taking away from the friendly constructive critism and taking a more direct route of saying what should be on his show each week for each wrestler. So points to Brandoni for making it a trio.

The cameras go back to BingBong in the studio. There is a loud bang and the theme music plays as the voice over says. “It is now time for the new weekly segment on 4Down Weekly which we hope you all enjoy” A drum roll goes and the lights flash.

FD NF/FD FW CHAMPIONSHIPS
There are lots of cheers as BingBong is standing by white board with a couple of names on.

“Thank you and yes this is a brand new segment in which I will look at Jimsta’s brand new show involving the Fourdown Universe competing in various different ways against each other in order to be champions. It sounds like it is going to be a wonderful new concept and has already sparked activity here on the site. This week saw the first champions crowned and already new contenders have come forward to battle for the titles. I really thing this could be the next big thing here.”

Once again there are cheers and applause from the audience at the new idea from jimsta. Now the lights dim as we go into the final segment of the show.

BINGBONG’S TWO CENTS

“Well, we come to the end of tonight’s show and I just have one thought to end the show. I have had a thought as to why Non-Fantasy blogging has declined. The bar on the side that shows recent blogs is often so filled with shows that non fantasy blogs sometimes get lost and people don’t notice them. When this happens comments aren’t made and people don’t see the point in continuing to write. Perhaps two bars might work better, I dunno. Please share your thoughts.”

The theme hits as the audience cheers and BingBong leaves the stage.
The show ends and the credits roll.
