Good News/ Bad News for the edawg32 show

So here's the bad news, the edawg32 show will be no longer as I personally cant find time to right out a show and make it sound good, and I want everyone to enjoy the show not hate, but with that being said, I will be starting a new show. Now I like the idea mitch176 brought here to 4Down and I like what other people have began by doing this. So I wana start my own. It will be WWE Gamma will be the show, so I dont want to disappoint anyone with what has happened with my current show, but, I think this one will be much better. Now more good news, the edawg32 show isn't leaving for good. On occasion, I will post a show and make sure ive had time to develop it. Thank you all for understading, and I hope you all enjoy WWE Gamma.

Monday Night Wars?

Well Monday didnt go as good as I had hoped. I was part of the "TNA crowd" so that's where all my attention mostly went. Sadly, i ended the night kinda pissed i wasted 2 hours on the show. They had too many freakin promos. Just shut up and wrestle!!! They didnt even showcase my fave KO, Hamada....she's becoming a distant memory. Instead i saw the TBP/Angelina storyline again, in a boring tag match that could've been a little longer. they should've just threw Daffney/Hamada into it as a 4th team. Made it elimination rules with some gimmick like no DQ.

i would've booked:
Hamada/Daffney get eliminated 1st.
then out goes Sari/Taylor (sorry girls..it's for storyline purposes)
then finally it will be TBP v Angelina/Tara. Tara on her way to victory and then Daffney comes out and hits her with the title belt. Atleast then they might've gotten more viewers. I mean you get a short/boring diva tag match or a fourway elimination KOs tag match, no DQ, for the titles.

I did tune in to raw for HHH's promo (i love him on the mic when he gets serious.) and the diva tag match because i have to support Maryse. Still, nothing on Raw really appealed to me...as usual.

both shows were subpar, imo. Sting's heel turn, RVD's debut and Shannon Moore's surprise title shot were all highlights for me. I hope TNA steps it up if they plan to continue these Monday Night Wars. WWE wasnt even trying and still killed them in ratings. When will Hogan learn that people dont wanna hear him on the mic for half the night. By the 2nd hour TNA Impact turned into a bad episode of "Hogan Knows Best." Not cool, Hogan...not cool at all.

anyway, comments are welcome. these are just my feelings. I'm not here to bash one company over the other. Both need work. i just was expecting more Monday night. Oh well. There's always next week. I'll continue to support them because i do enjoy the biz. Just hope things start picking up.

It's 4:20 in TNA, Rob Van Dam Debuts!

Like probably most of the wrestling audience last night, I primarily watched WWE's Monday Night Raw. But I did switch over to TNA Impact quite a few times. Felt like the old days, flipping back and forth between USA and TNT to try and get as much of Raw and Nitro action as I could.

Raw was a fairly standard show. More exciting than usual, though, because of the strong WrestleMania card they have going. Nothing really stood out other than the excellent Undertaker/Shawn Michaels promo, but that's okay - they want us to pay for the good stuff at WrestleMania, and that makes sense.

I switched over to Impact a few times. I did want to see how they opened, but once I saw that Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were opening the show, I knew I could stay on Raw for a while. The opening segment on Raw was great. The HBK/Taker program feels a lot different than last year. Feels a lot more serious. The stipulations definitely add to that.

From then on, neither show really stood out to me. I did switch to Impact just about any time Chris Angel was on, but never saw anything that interested me..

Though there was one moment where I thought TNA was on to something. I caught Dixie Carter telling Sting that he was facing a Mystery Opponent - and since I read this site, and others, I had a pretty good feeling it was going to be Rob Van Dam.

I wasn't going to miss that!

So there I was, watching Sting get to the ring. Then the lights turned green. I knew everyone was right - RVD was debuting. First off, I loved both the lighting for his entrance and his new music. My first reaction - they're giving RVD's character a bit of an "assassin" persona. Really, that's what I thought - because of the way Dixie said she found someone to face Sting (like a hitman) and because of the way his music sounded. It sounded a bit dark. I thought I was right when RVD came in the back way. Though his outfit hadn't changed one bit - and while I've always dug his outfits, I thought he could have changed it up a bit. Added some dark green to match his entrance in TNA.

And before I knew it, his match with Sting was over. Well, that seemed cool. He came in, surprised Sting, took him out with "pinpoint precision" (even though his rolling thunder seemed a little off). I thought, hey, maybe I was right that they're going to make him a bad ass in the company!

But then TNA did something I couldn't believe. For what felt like 20 minutes, Sting beat RVD down with his bat. Hogan appeared.

TNA? WHAT IS GOING ON?

HELLO? RVD was the "hottest free agent" in wrestling. Everyone wanted to see him. Everyone wanted to go crazy for him. Well, we got to for about 10 seconds, and that was it. Are you kidding me?

There's a reason why people were calling him the hottest free agent. Because he's a guy fans haven't seen regularly in years. He's a guy who held both the WWE Championship and the ECW Championship at the same time during his last run. He's a guy who everyone would immediately buy in the main event, and want to pay to see him go for the title.

So first off, why put him in a match with Sting? Yeah, he won, that's cool, but then to have Sting beat him down and almost make RVD a bit player in this Hogan/Sting interaction.. it either means RVD is going to have a program with just Sting, or he's going to ally with Hogan (something no RVD fan wants to see! get this through your thick skulls TNA!), or they're going to drop it and RVD will get no payback on Sting. (because hey, he beat Sting already, right?) Sting is not a good opponent for RVD. Not only is Sting not that great of a worker anymore (not that he ever was THAT great), but he's not as fast as he used to be. RVD does not work so well against slower guys who can't do much - it exposes RVD more than anything.

This is what I would have done, and I think people would have much different opinions today if TNA had gone this route:

In the opening of the show, I would have had RVD debut immediately. The show should have started with Tazz announcing that the biggest free agent in wrestling history is coming out RIGHT NOW. RVD comes out, cuts a promo that he is here to scout the amazing talent in TNA. He's ready to rise "high" to the top of TNA, and what better way to do it than to be out here at ringside for the Hogan & Abyss vs Flair & AJ Styles match?

So you have that match begin, and have the same screwy finish. RVD does NOT get involved, though.

Then you don't have RVD around until the very end of the show, when the match is again taking place. RVD comes out, pretty much in place of Jeff Hardy (who could have taken RVD's actual role in the Sting/Hogan segment and beatdown), and hits the frog splash on Styles. Then he does the same to Abyss. Then it's RVD either interjecting himself into Styles vs Abyss at Destination X, or the match simply becomes RVD vs Styles for the title at the PPV.

That's it! You immediately stick RVD into a top program. You have him take no sides - he's not with Hogan, he's not with Flair, he's for himself.

Now, he could get screwed at Destination X, get the beat down there - that's fine. But everyone can be excited going into the PPV that perhaps RVD will become the champion, and will face D'Angelo Dinero at Lockdown.

TNA, you let me down on January 4th. You let me down on March 8th. How many more chances can I give you?

Well TNA has done it...They have fired a shot across the bow...They picked a fight with the big kid...and they may succeed. I gotta say...this is one of the best wrestling shows I've seen in a awhile.. While RAW plods along...and does virtually the same show every week... TNA has done this.. They made wrestling exciting to watch again for me... This Impact has the wild, unpredictable type of program that made me like wrestling. Made me watch ECW when that came out. All the run- ins ... You never know who is coming to ring... and what their agenda was when the get to the ring...THIS is the stuff I like...And I hope it continues. I agree TNA has smoked RAW tonight...

Shawn Micheals versus The Undertaker at Wrestlemania26 for a rematch might just be Taker's greatest Wrestlemania challenge.Some say it was last year...but let's recap his 1st match against Kane or his match against Batista or Deisel(Kevin Nash).These superstars gave Taker a run for his money that Micheals didn't compare to last year even with a couple of his super-kicks;but that won't be the case this year.The WWE universe knows this year will far exceed all the rest.A friend of mine says "come on dude,its a rematch so they got to be planning somethin so that means Micheals is going to win" but i beg to differ.I think the WWE is giving Micheals a "Farewell-Match" and the Undertaker at Wrestlemania is perfect.Now when Undertaker defeats Micheals there should be no booing because even though Micheal's career is over he went out with a bang and we will find out who the real"MR.WRESTLEMANIA" is!If you disagree leave a comment on this.

i dont think ive ever flipped back and forth on my remote-ever-i started off the night on tna.hogan and abyss vs flair and styles,i thought it was a great start for thier first night of monday takeover.then a commercial came on so i watched wwe womens match.it lasted as long as the tna com.then here comes another com.while i was watching wwe,i didnt even see what went on with the big show and miz.so finaly something was going to have to give.my wife left so i went in her room and turned her tv where i could see it.cant say much about the hype but i at least seen matchs.sting has a lil different attitude these days,but when he came to tna before he had 1 too.and everything worked out.as far as his match that dixie carter set up,why did rvp have to come to the ring in the cowardly(from behind)way that he did.in my opinion he got what he deserved.and then everybody trys to come to the ring and cool sting down-even hogan who was half beat to death anyway.i wonder what stings excuse will be this time.kurt angle brought an army to beat up anderson.i thought that was kinda hokee.then flicking and watching again i seen even bourne win the match against regal.not much to say about that.--SHANNON MOORE--ya gotta be kiddin me lol.when i turned my head to look at my wifes tv i saw hornswaggle.i knew i wouldnt be looking back that way for a while.then pope and his interview,this guy dont stand a chance at the world title shot if people dont stay off that leg.the funny thing is the pope knows it,will he use that for his excuse to why he loses?a big HHHOOORRAAYY for the beutiful people.this is a team that has loyalty and stick together no matter what all the time.watch out for angelina-shes sly.legacy,probably the best match of the night for the wwe.its to bad in a way thier going seperate ways because i believe at this time its the only thing going for wwe.it was 1 of the better matchs ive seen on wwe in a while,and its not over yet.hhh and shamus?all i can say is its going to be interesting.1 thing ive always liked about shamus and that is he dont back down from nobody for as little time as hes been in wwe.when he was champion he took on all comers.hed even jump the fence-i week cena-the next week orton.he just didnt care.i liked it.its a good thing jeff jarrett didnt beat beer money all by himself tonight.if that would have happen beer money wouldnt even be in title contention.i also noticed the fans booing beer money mmmm thats funny,they didnt do anything they havent been doing all along.FINALY-the main event returned with hogan abyss vs flair and styles-at the same time was cena vs mcmahon.i had a feeling something was going to happen with mcmahon match and it did.but i didnt think it would get that far out of hand.and the tna flair hogan abyss styles had a little happen when that match (ENDED)over all-i believe that the tna SMOKED the wwe tonight.

After the match HHH attacks Mr.McMahon.HBK recovers and attacks HHH.Cena then enters the brawl and FUs HBK.McMahon then hits Cena with a stunner.HHH and Mr.McMahon stare eachother down as our show comes to an end...

JEFF HARDY and ROB VAN DAM - Tonight on Impact! - Are you watching Raw or Impact?

That's right, both Jeff Hardy and Rob Van Dam are scheduled to appear on Impact tonight!

Can't say I'm too surprised about Jeff appearing. I was never a big fan and after his latest bust I'd be happy never to hear about him again. Shouldn't be rewarding a person like that! But of course TNA has no problem with that, if it might pop the rating!

RVD however I am looking forward to see back in wrestling, even though I can't believe he decided to go with Hogan and Bischoff.

Born misses air-Bourne and is destroyed by Shemus. Shemus grabs a mike and says that he is the most dominant force in the WWE.

John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels.

Cena wins with a STFU.

Alex Riley runs down and fails an attack on Cena as HBK gets up and hits a Sweet Chin Music on Riley then Cena hits an F.U on Riley.

Shawn grabs a mike and says HHH next week Cena and I are Challenging you and Alex Riley to a Tag Team Match.

Have you noticed that past WWE Talent has went to TNA? Well, it's obvious to me that people who have worked for Vince McMahon are tired of working with the guy. I mean, you've got Kurt Angle, Rhino, Raven, Team 3D (The Dudley Boyz), Scott Steiner, Christy Hemme, and recently, Tara (Victoria), Hulk Hogan, and Ric Flair. These are among many former WWE wrestlers who have switched over. That excludes the founder Jeff Jarrett although he has worked for WWE.

Now here's something to think about... If Shawn Micheals loses at WrestleMania 26 and can't beat the Undertaker, will he make the transition to TNA?

I guess RVD is supposedly making a return in TNA. I don't know for sure, but you know, who knows?

In the future, what other WWE superstars do you think will switch over to TNA?

Also on a quick note, TNA has apparently decided to get rid of it's six sided ring and go for the regular four sides. I wonder why they decided to change?

HELLO! And welcome to the 176 Show episode 16! Can you believe that? This show has been running for a whole 16 weeks! Wow that time has gone quickly, anyway I suppose if you enjoy what you do then you shouldn't have a singles day work eh?

Well today I have a few good features in store for ya! I am going to give my thoughts on the results of the polls I posted earlier this week and tell you all what I voted for, gove my current Wrestlemania 26 predictions and why I think they will turn out that way, show you the way I see Extreme Rules being booked and as always I shall be posting this weeks WWE ECW Beta, soon to become WWE NXT Beta!

But then there are others such as John Morrison who were completly wasted, I mean Morrison should be earning his ticket to the main event now, not teaming with a midcarder for the Tag Titles.

My Prediction= John Cena via Submission

Why?= I can't see Batista getting the clean win over Cena at this stage seeing as though he won at SummerSlam and I definately don't see a Mania main event ending in DQ or Count Out.

World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho(c) vs Edge

My Prediction= Edge via Pinfall

Why?= Edge needs to get the win here so that he can carry on the feud with Jericho getting a rematch at Extreme RUles(More on that later).

Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon

My Prediction= Bret Hart via Submission

Why?= I also predict Stone Cold Steve Austin to be the special guest ref for this match. I call Bret to lock in the sharpshooter and Vince to tap. Austin then stunners them both for good measure.

Ted Dibiase/w Dibiase Sr. vs Randy Orton/w Cowbpy Bob Orton vs Cody Rhodes/w Dusty Rhodes

My Prediction= Ted Dibiase or Randy Orton via Pinfall

Why?= Was a tough one to call this one, it could go any way to be honest. But I see either Ted or Randy winning and then letting Cody and Ted go on to be singles competitors.

MITB Match - Christian vs kane vs Shelton Benjamin vs MVP vs Jack Swagger vs Dolph Ziggler vs Matt Hardy vs Kofi Kingston

My Prediction= Christian

Why?= So that he can cash it in on Edge when the time right :)

Why?= Because Truth and Morrison aren't a fricken tag team! Get them apart and have Morrison go heel so he can become a top notch main eventer

My Prediction= Toughest match to call ever! But I am going with the Undertaker, even though my mates say Shawn.

Why?= Because Shawn had had a great run and what better way to go than to lose to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania?

Sheamus vs HHH

My Prediction= HHH via pinfall

Why?= He just will but they will have a rematch

There may be more matches but I don't know what to put

Next up is my prediction for the way Extreme Rules shall be booked:

World Heavyweight Championship: Edge(c) vs Chris jericho - Ladder Match

WWE Championship: John Cena(c) vs Batista - Last Man Standing Match

Sheamus vs HHH - Street Fight

United States Championship: The Miz(c) vs Daniel Bryan - Lumberjack match(is that a worthy stipulation? i just couldnt think of anything that could get all the rookies and pros involved)

I don't know what to put for the other match, but feel free to give me your ideas on what will go down.

Event 1: Highlight package showing Christian's rise to dominance from putting Dreamer on the shelf to winning the ECW title from Kozlov.

Match 1: ECW Tag Team Titles

Caylon Croft and Trent Baretta vs Goldust and The Hurricane

Result: Caylon Croft and Trent win after Caylon and Trent hit their double team finisher on Goldust while Hurricane is knocked onto the arena floor.

Event 2: Tiffany comes out to the ring and says that right here tonight Christian will find out who he will be defending the ECW title against in the last ECW match ever, which will be at Wrestlemania 26.

Match 2: Winners will recieve an ECW tag title shot on the last episode of ECW before Mania

Yoshi Tatsu and Shelton Benjamin vs Vance Archer and William Regal

Result: Yoshi and Shelton win after Johnny Curtis runs down to the ring and distracts Vance, Yoshi is then able to hit his buzzsaw kick for the win.

Match 3: Singles match

Johnny Curtis vs Ezekiel Jackson

Result: Johnny Curtis gets a quick roll up before Vance Archer is able to make the interference and cost him the match.

Event 3: Christian is out in the ring he says that no matter who he has to face he shall always be the best in ECW! He then tells Tiffany to come out here and tell him who he is facing at Mania.

Tiffany comes out to the ring and says "Christian, you will be facing this man at Wrestlemania!"....

Tommy Dreamer's music hits and out Tommy walks!

Tiffany says she is granting him one last match in ECW and it shall be for CHristians title.

Kozlov/Jackson have the upperhand til Regal gets evicted from ringside.Jackson argues with the ref only to turn around to the pedigree.Kozlov then enters the ring.Kozlov tries a clothesline but HHH ducks and hits a pedigree on him as well.He then goes for the cover on Jackson and gets the 3 count.
After the match Mr.McMahon comes onto the titantron an says on Raw HHH will have a match against HBK and if he looses,he must hang up his boots and leave the WWE.
HHH responds with two words...The crowd chants SUCK IT!!!!

Hello and welcome to TNA Beta Week 5!

TNA Impact Week 2
Live every Monday Night on Spike

Event 1:
Highlight package from TNA Against All Odds, including Rhino winning the Legends Title and then siding with the Hogan Regime at the end of the show.

Event 2:
Mr. Anderson walks out to the ring with his new World Heavyweight Championship around his waist. He introduces himself as the newest and best world heavyweight champion EVER in TNA. But before he can really get into his promo Kurt Angle storms out to the ring. He says that he was screwed at Against All Odds and he demands he recieves his World Title rematch right here tonight.
Eric Bischoff then comes out to the ring and says that he will grant Kurt his rematch tonight, and he also wants a full explanation as to what happened at Against All Odds from Hogan and his cronies.
The Hogan Regime come out to the ring (Ric Flair, AJ Styles and Hogan). Hogan is the first to grab a microphone, he says that before they give their explanation he wants to introduce someone. The newest member of the Hogan Regime.... Rhino! Rhino storms out to the ring with his new legends title belt and stands by Hogan. Hogan says that he made a deal with Rhino because he felt that he was being underused. He says that he told Rhino that if he won that Legends Title then he would bring him into The Hogan Regime.
Hogan then says that at Against All Odds everything went their way, Hogan put Jeff Jarret on the shelf and Rhino claimed his rightful gold. But one thing did not go their way and that was that AJ Styles did not win his No.1 contenders match for the WHchampionship. Kurt interupts and says that is all very good, but they cost him his World title and that they will have to pay. Eric then speaks up and says that tonight their will be two main events. The first of which will be Desmonde Wolfe and Matt Morgan vs Rhino and AJ Styles, the second of which will be Kurt Angle vs Mr. Anderson for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Match 1: Tag Titles match
Generation Me vs The MCMG's(c)
Result= The MCMG's retain their titles after a long and hard fought match.

Match 2: Singles Match - Ultimate X qualifying match (Winner earns a spot in the Ultimate X match at Destination X for the X-Division title)
Kaz vs The Brian Kendrick
Result= The Brian Kendrick picks up the win to earn a spot in teh Ultimate X match at Destination X.

Event 3: Matt Morgan has a backstage interview, he says that he could have chashed in his World Title briefacse at Against All Odds, but he felt that Kurt had been screwed enough and Anderson didn't deserve the satisfaction of facing him. He carries on to say that will change soon, because when the time comes and the World Champion is face down on the ground he will strike and claim the gold for himself. But first he says that he shall team with his former enemy, Wolfe, tonight and take out the disrespectful low lifes of AJ Styles and Rhino.

Match 3: Singles Match Ultimate X Qualifying match
Suicide vs Hernandez
Result= Hernandez wins to earn a spot in the Ultimate X match at Destination X

Match 4: Knockouts Tag Team Titles (Roxxi and Christy Hemme won a No.1 contenders match on week 4 to earn this shot)
Roxxi and Christy Hemme vs Awesome Kong and ODB
Result= Double DQ after Awesome Kong and Roxxi both hit each other with Steel chairs at the same time. The two teams then brawl after the match.

Event 4: Backstage
Hogan is seen talking with AJ Styles, he says that AJ has been letting him down a lot lately and he is starting to question his spot in the Hogan Regime. He says that if AJ continues to disapoint then he will have to take some decisive action.

Match 5: Singles Match
Eric Young vs Jay Lethal
Result= Eric Young after he locks in a rollup
After the match Eric grabs a mic and says that next week he shall be having his rematch for the Legends championship.

Event 5: Highlight package from Against All Odds.

Match 6: Tag Team Action
Rhino and AJ Styles vs Matt Morgan and Desmonde Wolfe
Result= Rhino picks up the victory for his team when he Gores Wolfe. After the match AJ Styles starts to beat down on Wolfe because of their brawl at Against All Odds. But Morgan helps Wofle and AJ ends up being beaten down on. Rhino looks on with annoyance.

Event 6: Hogan walks up to Rhino backstage and says that AJ let them down again out there.

Match 7: World Title Match
Kurt Angle vs Mr. Anderson
Result= Mr. Anderson wins the match after he reverses an Ankle Lock and connects with a Mic Check.
During the match the no.1 contender to the World Title, The Pope, appears and attacks Mr. Anderson while the ref is knocked down.

After the match Mr. Anderson poses above Kurt Angle and spits in his face. Matt Morgan then appears at the entrance ramp and stares down Anderson to end the show.

ROB VAN DAM signs with TNA

That's what I'm hearing. Hogan apparently did RVD's signature thumbs pointing to himself pose yesterday when talking about new talent coming in to TNA.

So this is what I have to thank Hogan for. For taking a guy I would pay to see over on WWE and bringing him in to a company that so far I won't watch for free for more than a few minutes at a time. Thanks! RVD is probably my favorite wrestler but one wrestler doesn't make a company so it's not going to change my opinion of which show I plan to watch on Monday nights. (I can still watch the TNA PPVs I guess, but funny thing, I think they care more about their TV ratings right now!)

Now, if RVD stays in TNA and Dixie finally wises up and dumps Hogan and Bischoff - then I'll give TNA another chance. Just can't believe anyone could be tricked by those bozos in freakin 2010! What's that old saying about history and being doomed to repeat it? Don't ask Dixie - I guess she wouldn't know either.

So here we go as TNA is going on, the edawg32 show will go on and hey if we luck out we may beat TNA in the ratings!!! Haha just joking but welcome to the show and today on the show they guys discuss recent releases, how much of an impact the arrest of Helms & Jericho was and why is Jeff Jarrett being treated so bad!!! So herreeee's Dick!

D: Thanks and it feels good to be back, my name is Dick and my partner in crime is John and John let's start todays show with recent releases in both TNA and WWE, John who was released and how will it effect the company?

J: Well yea Dick let's check this out WWE recentley released Charlie Haas, Shane Helms or The Hurricane, Maria, & Scott Armstrong. TNA recentley released Awesome Kong & Tracy Brooks. Now Tracy isn't huge, but Awesome Kong may hurt TNA and she may go to WWE, but who knows. Now for WWE, losing Helms is the major hit here. He will probably go to TNA and do a great job there, but who knows, Also RVD is all set up to debut on Monday in TNA and I heard he's bald!!! We'll have to see!!

D: Well how would Helms affect TNA?

J: Well Shannon Moore signed with TNA so he will probably be included and Jeff Hardy may return so that will be huge and Helms could team with him.

D: Alright now why did Helms and Jericho differ in there arrests back awhile ago?

J: Well I think that the WWE was just looking for a reason to fire Helms and they finally got one. However, Jericho new he was going to get the strap and the World Heavyweight Championship and he got just that, so this is just WWE being WWE. Favoring the bigger star, not the smaller star.

D: They have had a history of doing that.

J: Yea you have a great point.

D: Yea now onto our third topic and that's Jeff Jarrett!!! He is being treated so terrible in TNA! He made that company what it is today and now Eric Bischoff is just spitting in his face, but John how will Jarrett bounce back?

J: Well come on Dick, he found the company! There not just going to completley throw him out the door. Jarrett has one more run left in him and thats what he's doing here, but they may have been taking it to far, but giving him no entrance music, i just hope he give Eric what he deserves.

D: We'll have to see, I really want him to hold the TNA World Championship again.

J: Yea the same here, it's his company and he truely deserves it.

Mr. Wrestlemania vs. The Deadman

Whether or not Shawn Michaels wins at Wrestlemania, he will still be the Showstopper. He will still be going out on top. The best in the business. People may call Bret Hart the Exellence of Execution but Shawn Michaels may as well be called The Only One that Matters. He is the measuring stick for pro-wrestleing, if someone can keep up with Shawn Michaels they can keep up with everyone else. While Ric Flair is an astounding 16 time world champion, he also lost the belt more than anyone ever did, and won the belt at times when (generally in the 80's) the powers at be didn't have a lot of respect for the belt. Shawn Michaels title reigns meant something. He may have been champion three times but he only lost it twice.
The Undertaker is a phenom and whether or not he wins at Wrestlemania he will still be one of the most respected and well liked performers in the business. If he wins Shawn Michaels is "retired" . If he loses the streak becomes 17-1, and the wwe will have to stop referring to it. With wwe now having competition, as unthreatening as it may be, from TNA and their tour-de-80's undercard pro-wrestling hoganettes, having a guy with an almost 20 year streak may make people that Wrestlemania the grandest stage of them all is just as predictable as a christmas pagent . The guy is 44 and while he is not fading or faultering in anyway, he is aging.
Then again so is Shawn Michaels. Maybe Michaels is ready to retire, he has been for sometime now. But should his last match be losing to the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? Or would it be ironic because even though he lost the match he still won the night. He had the best match that nobody else could follow lost went home and lived happily ever after.
If HBK wins the match he wins the right to say not only is he the most titled man in the business but that he also ended big evil's big reign. If HBK loses he's (potentially) had his last match and the most storied carrier in the history of the business. He's had the best matches run the best promos and been well "the showstopper", and he went out fighting, and never backed down. While the Undertaker gets one of two things: to be the guy who made HBK go away, or the guy that HBK beat.
Either way the real Wrestlemania winner will be MR. WRESTLMANIA THE HEARTBREAK KID SHAWN MICHAELS. (this card is subject to change)

Rhino vs Eric Young(c)
Result= Winner and new Legends champion... Rhino!

Rhino picked up the victory after he hit a thrid gore of the match onto Eric and then pinned him for the victory.

Match 2: X-Division Title
Homicide(c) vs Hernandez
Result= Winner and still champion Homicide!

He secures the win when he hits a lowblow on Hernandez behind the refs back and then rolls up Hernandez for the win.

Match 3: Full Metal Mayhem Match
Team 3D vs The Nasty Boys
Result= Your winners, Team 3D.

They win after Team 3D hit the 3D on Jerry Sags through a table.

Event 2: Backstage
Jeff Jarret is seen, he is talking with Kurt Angle. Angle says that no matter what happens here tonight, JJ shall always be remembered as the founder of TNA. The Hogan regime then walk into the locker room. Hogan says that JJ better soak up everything he hears, sees and feels tonight, as it shall be his last night wrestling in TNA ever!

Match 4: Knockouts Title - Special Guest Ref Madison Rayne
Tara vs Velvet Sky vs Angelina Love(c)
Result=Winner and NEW Knockouts champion... Velvet Sky!

Velvet Sky steals the victory when Tara hits the widows peak on Angelina and then Velvet throws Tara out of the ring and pins Angelina. Madison gives her a very quick trhee count.

Event 3: Backstage
The Pope is seen preparing for his match which is up next.

Match 5: No.1 contendership for the WHC
The Pope vs Desmonde Wolfe vs AJ Styles
Result: Winner and new no.1 contender for the WHC

The Pope wins the match after he rolls up AJ Styles into the three count. After the match AJ Styles goes into a tantrum, he shouts that he was screwed and he starts trashing the audience seats in the first front rows. But then out of nowhere Desmonde Wolfe runs up behind him and takes him out from behind. Wolfe then beats down on AJ saying that he cost him his chance at the gold.

Match 6: Tag Team Title - Triple Threat Tag Team match
Beer Money vs Generation Me(c) vs The MCMG's
Result= Your winners and NEW Tag Team champions, The MCMG's!

The MCMG's win when they hits secure the roll up on one member of each opposing team while the other two opponents were knocked out on the floor.

Match 7: Career vs Career
Jeff Jarrett vs Hulk Hogan
Result= Your winner... Hulk Hogan!

Hogan wins when Flair runs down to the ring and chop blocks JJ when he is about to hit Hogan with the guitar while the ref is knocked down. Hogan then hits the leg drop and secures the pin. But only after Ric tears off his short to reveal a refs top underneath. Ric then counts the pin. Angle then runs down to the ring with a steel chair, he tries to take out Hogan and Flair, but is only able to take out Flair before AJ Styles runs down to teh ring to help his Hogan Regime team mates. Hogan and AJ then beat down on Kurt until Flair gets back up and he helps his team mates.
Desmonde WOlfe then runs down and surprisingly helps his rival Kurt angle by attacking AJ and Flair, leaving just Hogan fighting Kurt. But when everyone is busy, Hogan fighting Kurt and Flair and Aj taking on Wolfe, a surprise person runs down to the ring. The new Legends champion Rhino hits the ring and takes out Desmonde and Kurt. The Hogan Regime and Rhino then pose over Kurt and Wolfe's bodies.

Once The Hogan Regime and Rhino have left the ring, Mr. Anderson's music hits the arena.

Main Event: WHC match
Kurt Angle vs Mr. Anderson
Result= Your winner and NEW WHChampion... Mr. Anderson!!

Anderson ran straight down to the ring without introducing himself. He then picked up Kurt's lifeless body and hit the Mic Check. By now the ref was in the ring and Anderson got the three count.

For some reason, our automated emails (both when registering and any you've opted-in to receive for alerts) are not getting to every intended recipient.

This definitely seems to be affecting people whose email address ends with @yahoo.com, @roadrunner.com, and @aol.com - and surely there are others affected that I'm not aware of.

However, Google Mail accounts (@gmail.com) work perfectly, as do plenty of other mail providers. I'm not sure why this is happening - we don't get any errors about it.

WWE PROBLEMS

I’m going to post BETA tomorrow but today I thought it would be good to discuss MY opinions on problems with WWE and how to solve them. Now I’m not really a critic but here are my thoughts...

(In no particular order)

1. Stop Pushing Shemus, he is not really that good and is only there because he is part of the CLIQUE. He is just another UMAGA or KHALI. A short time at the top then either stuck kissing fans or released (RIP UMAGA)

2. Get rid of PG. I will now show you a snippet of a guy who is in favour of the PG’s Blog...

I can't disagree with you more. If anything, the WWE does need to start aiming for the kiddie demographic, because the 18 to 32 demographic simply isn't that interested anymore. It takes a lot to get a superstar over with the smart mark crowds of today, and even more to get a positive or surprised reaction. What WWE needs to do is re-establish kayfabe, and the best way to go about re-approaching kayfabe is through the imaginative minds of a kid, because wrestling is like Santa to kids, it's real until they turn 12. I'm not saying they should stay kid friendly, but they definitely need to draw in that new generation of fans, and grow as a product with them. That's exactly how wrestling got big when I was little. In the 80's, it was like a big cartoon with the vibrant colors face's wore and the power that a heel could draw, be it through money or magic, and all of this existed within it's own reality. Guys like Hulk Hogan were ultimate good, and they did no wrong. Then, as I matured, the characters matured. Going into the 90's, the vibrant color started to slowly fade until I was left with nothing but a little black here, a little white there, and shades of gray all around. Hogan became a complex character, a heel that you loved to hate, that almost sent out an all too real political message about corperate America. I grew as Hogan's character grew, and that's what the WWE needs to focus on. They need to tap into the pop culture of society and take something almost unanimously popular and capitalize on it with an attitude that either fits the times we are in, and blow it out of preportion with an almost cartoony stereotype to draw in the younger audience that relates to it.

If they want to recapture that 20 something male adult group, they need to make the product smarter. Incorperate more wrestling into the show. I guarantee you that most wrestling fans within this age group that follows ROH, or Chikara, or promotions in Japan tunes into ECW more than any other televised wrestling show at this point. Why? Because they see what they want to see, wrestling, and not just any kind of wrestling, but a style that they like, a style that essentially needs to keep the talent pool rife with skilled and over young, key word, YOUNG athletes within the same age range as the audience. I honestly think that's what draws a lot of the smarty pants wrestling fans into watching independent wrestling. They see rebellion, youth, and innovation. These are things the WWE currently lacks a whole lot of. We're stuck with rehashed storylines we saw 10 years ago, and don't get me wrong, they were great ten years ago, but it's been done, it's grown tired, and like 90's wrestling put the 80's style to rest, they need to euthanize old concepts from the past decade and come up with a fresh product. Not as easy as it sounds, I know, but that's essentially what the WWE needs right now, freshness

Now I agree with most of this BUT WWE really needs to, in a way, just relax. Forget about whether something may offend another company or anything. If they relax with the rules a bit the attitude era will return and WWE will once again succeed.

3. One thing they need to fix is Title reigns. Especially the world titles. They seem to change hand 5-6 times a year now! They need to be longer.

4. The cruiserweight division needs to be re-instated or Carlito, Prim , Kung Fu Naki, Yoshi Tatsu and Chavo Guerreo will all be either released or will end up with a role like chavo’s. WWE WHAT ARE YOU THINKING HE IS A FRIGIN GUERREO!

5. The match lengths need to be longer, both the RAW money in the bank matches were each less than 2 minutes.

6. Diva’s need to be able to WRESTLE as well as look good like VICTORIA AND TRISH STRATUS.

7. DX gotta go! They were ace during the attitude era and in 2006 (soon I’m going to make a video collection blog of the last 4 years funniest promos like my adverts one)they were good and had one of the funniest promos ever at CYBER SUNDAY

Well the edawg32 show is coming to you right now after Raw and what an explosive Raw it was!!! So many huge matches for WrestleMania added, so now Dick & John will talk about The Bret/Vince situation, The HHH/Sheamus situation, and the Undertaker/ HBK situation and then give you your full updated card for WrestleMania!!! So heres Dick!

D: Thanks Edawg!!! And wow what a Monday Night Raw!!!! So here we go, let's discuss The Bret Hart and Vince McMahon situation. So John it took a turn tonight when Vince said he really wanted a match with Bret and he accepted now what do u think John?

J: Yea I'm just waiting for a stipulation to added to this match, because I'm not sure, if it would be so entertaining without that so thats how I see it. But I definatley like the idea. This is a match thats 13 years in the making and finally comes to a hault at WrestleMania 26!

D: Well if the WWE doesn't add a stipulation, do you the match will be bad.

J: Not at all. Hart and McMahon have done this so many times that many will tune in to see the result of the match and how great it will be.

D: Well will have to see what the WWE decides to do. Now tonight on Raw, HBK & HHH got there rematch against Miz Show or Show Miz, whatever u want to call them. The Miz pinned HBK after The Undertaker appeared, however when Michaels walked away, Sheamus came out of the crowed and attacked Triple H. Does this mean we will se Sheamus vs. Triple H at WrestleMania?

J: Yea thats exactly what this means. Sheamus will come out and say how Triple H robbed him of the WWE Championship and wants to do nothing more but face him at WrestleMania.

D: That sounds exactly like what will see, but that's a hard one to predict, so who wins that match?

J: It's very tough to predict, but I see Sheamus winning this in the end, he's a skilled fighter and will probably win, but who knows, we'll have to see.

D: Well I think Triple H will win, he has great experience in this business and he wont lose in my mind.

J: Dont you wana bet on this? haha

D: Haha yes John how about ill bet you the lead anchor spot on this show, If your right, you can start the show off everytime, but if I win, I keep this spot, how about that?

J: Yea that's a great deal!!! We'll have to see!!!!

D: This should be interesting, anyway now that's move on. The Shawn Michaels and Undertaker situation has become very personal. John what will Shawn Michaels have to do to keep his career?

J: Personally, he just has to out-wrestle the Undertaker. He needs to out punch the Undertaker, and he needs to ground the Undertaker because this may be obvious, but thats the only way he will win and then he's just gota keep fighting and not give up.

D: Ok, but who wins in your mind John?

J: Dick it's gotta be the Undertaker. Shawn has had a great career and this is the only thing he hasn't done yet, so if this it for him, he will go out how he wants, accomplishing everything and never giving up in his whole career has been is moto, but now HBK hangs up the boots.

D: Thats for sure, well that'll do it for us tonight and now here is your updated WrestleMania card:

WrestleMania 26 - Best WrestleMania Line-Up Ever?

Right now I am the most BLOWN AWAY by the line-up for WrestleMania I can image, moreso than for any other PPV in history that I can remember!

Other cards have had some great main events, perhaps one really great main event and a really strong midcard/high-flyer match under it. This one feels like every match so far is a main event caliber match.

John Cena vs Batista - A match we've only seen once before. I was one of the people a little disappointed in WWE for giving it away to us without much build-up in the past, thinking it'd be hard to recapture it. Well, color me totally wrong! The angle tonight on Raw, Batista's awesome new demeanor, and the fact that it's for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania - even though I don't expect it to be a great technical match, I think it's going to be fun and who knows - Hogan vs Warrior turned out to be a pretty good match! And that's what this is - this era's Hogan vs Warrior, this era's Rock vs Austin. Cena and Batista probably know that, and I expect them to work that much harder to live up to it.

Edge vs Chris Jericho - And here's what I expect to be a great match. Not built up quite as long as Cena/Batista (if like me you've been expecting that match for years to headline WM), but still an awesome build and I expect it to get way better over the next few weeks.

Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker - Do I really need to say anything at ALL about this one?

Money in the Bank - With 8 rising stars, and being one of the most exciting matches at WrestleMania since it was created - and the implications of its result - I don't think I need to say a whole lot about this one, either.

And JUST ADDED TO THE CARD:

Bret "THE HITMAN" Hart vs Vince McMahon - The match that's been in the making ever since November 1997. The match absolutely no one would have said possible 4 months ago. Absolutely the biggest match in wrestling history if you ask me. Sure, it's not going to be much of a wrestling match. But no other match ever has had this much history. This much real animosity. And hey - I'm pretty sure we're going to find out soon that Bret's leg is just fine. And maybe - just maybe - Stone Cold Steve Austin will end up the guest referee.

So what do you guys think? Best line-up ever? And there's still bound to be more added - possibly Randy Orton vs Ted DiBiase Jr vs Cody Rhodes and Triple H vs Sheamus.

GM Teddy Long's music starts playing and he walks down to the stage.
"THE LOSER"The crowd starts cheering."Just like when you took over SD for a period of time.You dropped SDs ratings then and as we speak your probably dropping Raw's ratings.All you did was get Edge outta trouble and on a golden path.Then he DUMPED you.How does that make you feel?"
Vickie starts screaming at Teddy.Edge's music starts playing and Edge walks out to the stage.
"Vickie,Vickie,Vickie.You are like a blonde.You dont know what your doing in and outta the bedroom all your good for is a pity f***."Everyone starts chanting for Edge.

"Simple I thought I was a better champion so I became champion."
"What made Mr.McMahon give you that oppurtunity?"Cole asks.
"Me and him agreed that John Cena isnt a fit champion.That I was the better champion."
Cena walks up to both men.
"Your a better champion you say?Well if your so much better than me.Why didnt you face me in a real match?"
"I dont have to answer to you bc I'm better than..."
Cena starts to unload on HBK.Until Batista enters the bunch and Batista bombs Cena.Batista then tells Micheal Cole that he hould still be the champion and after he revokes his rematch clause he will be champion.Batista walks away.

Hart Dynasty win after hitting the Hart Attack on JTG.

Bourne/Kingston win when Kingston hits Trouble in Paradise and Bourne goes airbourne on Vance Archer for the 3 count.

Mysterio is about to get the win by count out when Vickie comes out to the stage and tells Edge if he gets DQ in anyway he will loose the WHC.Edge runs back into the ring only to be hit with a frenzy of high flying moves.In the end its Edge winning with a mid air spear.

Chris Jericho is in the ring.
"On SD I was granted the chance to face the Undertaker at WM.After I won that oppurtunity I was attacked.Everyone talks about how The Deadman is the most fear force in WWE but I dont believe that for the first time ever in WWE history me and Taker will be squaring off and I am not..."
The lights go out and when they go back on Jericho is no where to be found.Jericho sticks his head out from under the ring and everyone starts laughing.Jericho gets out from underneath the ring and walks to the back.

Match 6

Winner goes to WM
John Cena vs Batista (HBK is the ref.)

The match looks to be going Cena's way until HBK hits sweet chin music on Cena.Batista looks at HBK and tries to go for a pin but HBK hits sweet chin music on him as well.Both men are down in the ring has HBK looks down at them and yells thats why I'm the better champion.Mr.McMahon then comes out and makes the WWE Championship match at WM a Triple Threat.

If any of these wrestlers get switched to another brand before or after the draft edition of Raw, that won't affect these questions. I think this is definitely the most talked about match for the WrestleMania 26 card now. (and looking at rhombus' poll - http://www.fourdown.org/blog.cfm/277-user/2010/2/27/What-are-you-most-looking-forward-to-at-WRESTLEMANIA-26 - seems right!)

So what does everyone want to see happen coming out of this match?

First I saw another poll was opened about how everyone wants HBK vs Taker to end at WM26. Here are those results - hella interesting to look at!

Dead even right now between HBK and Undertaker winning cleanly by pinfall/submission, with a time limit draw right under it. I don't think people would've been so keen on HBK winning last year! Funny how that being one of the best matches of all time changes things, I think now more people are willing to be at least okay with HBK being the one to end Taker's streak. Possibly the fact that Taker wanted to work him two years in a row has helped change that, too. Taker's definitely giving Shawn a lot of respect by doing it again.

So where can this all lead to? Will HBK really retire?

A lot of people are just saying he'll disappear for 6 months again, and then come back and the retirement will just be forgotten. That seems crazy to me.

I just don't see HBK losing this match. Crazy, right? Well, a No Contest finish is certainly possible and I don't think I'd be pissed about it - well, that's assuming the match will be awesome again, which I have no doubt it will be.

So what would be next for HBK? If he DOES break the streak, he HAS to be on Raw the next night. Quite possibly (kayfabe) the biggest accomplishment of any wrestler ever - breaking Taker's streak. He'll have to be on Raw. Does he disappear then right after?

I say no. I've always thought HBK was going to at least treat us to one more match with HHH before he hangs up his boots. They're good friends and I think Hunter helped get Shawn back in the business after his problems in the early 2000's. So I say that match HAS to happen.

And SummerSlam is the "new" WrestleMania - the "biggest party of the summer." So what if the night after WrestleMania, Triple H viciously attacks HBK.. this lets Shawn take a month or two off (at least) and sets up a huge program for his return. Then HHH vs HBK headlines SummerSlam 2010.

And maybe that can be Shawn's retirement match. Fitting, right? Because HHH vs HBK was the main event of SummerSlam 2002 - HBK's first match back after retirement.

It just fits if you ask me!

Of course I don't think it will truly be HBK's last match - I think he can be a special attraction that comes in once a year. He's proven that he can always go even after taking long breaks.

This implies that all the options retire at the same time, and that they have run the full length of their careers. So think about what they might do later in their careers when making your choice.

The 176 Show Episode 15 - Plus ECW Beta Week 27/2/09

HELLO and welcome to the longest running weekly show here at Fourdown! Tonight I have a good night in store for you as we have the fall out from Elimination Chamber on ECW Beta, my review of the first ever WWE NXT, who else I think will be released from WWE over the next few months and some more hype for the final showdown between Europe's Elite and Fourdown owner Cletus420!

I think that I will kick things off with this weeks ECW beta, enjoy:

Result from the ECW Title Match at Elimination Chamber - Christian beat Vladamir Kozlov in 9:31 after Christian hit the KillSwitch for the win.

Event 1: Highlight package from Elimination Chamber

Event 2: The new ECW champion Christian comes out to the ring with his title belt. He says that at EC he proved that he is the best wrestler to ever set foot in the ring. He takes pride in the fact that he has put Tommy Dreamer on the shelf and he is now the ECW champion. Kozlov comes out to the ring and says that he wants his rematch right here tonight.

Match 1: Tag Team match
ECW Tag Team Champs Trent and Caylon vs Goldust and The Hurricane
Result - Goldust and The Hurricane in 7:41, after the match Gold/Hurricane declare that next week they shall recieve a ECW Tag Title match.

Event 3: Vincent Kennedy McMahon comes out to the ring, he says that starting the week after Wrestlemania ECW will be no more. He says that it will be replaced by a new concept called WWE NXT. He then announces the 8 NXT rookies that will be coming to the show:

He then says that next week he will anounce the pros to be paired with them.

Match 2: Submission Match
Vance Archer vs Johnny Curtis
Result - Johnny Curtis makes Vance tap at 12:42 when he locks in a figure four leg lock around a steel chair.

Match 3: ECW Title Match
Christian vs Vladamir Kozlov
Result - Christian beats Kozlov in 13:31 to retain the title.

Ok next up is my review of the first ever WWE NXT:

Well, sports-fans, the newest addition to the WWE television, NXT, was quite an entertaining ride. Although I had thought it was going to be more leaning towards a reality show instead of an actual WWE Live event, it had its amazing moments. Its basis was 8 rookie wrestlers being mentored by experienced pros to earn their spots in the WWE with the ones gaining most mentor experience claiming a place among the other Superstars.

Heath Slater: He is the "Rockstar without an instrument." It was easy to tell he was excited to be in the WWE. A VERY charismatic wrestler, Slater even gained a crowd reaction with his actions and gaining a crowd "Woo" when he yelled it. He was, however, a little rushed. He seemed to, in my wordage, to "flop" his feet back to the mat after giving a flying forearm to Michael Tarver. And his springboard out of the corner was a little rough and timed oddly by both Slater and Tarver.

Michael Tarver: He's the son of Mike Tyson's sparring partner. So he went with the Boxer gimmick. It's a gimmick we don't see a lot of. Last time I saw something similar was an MMA gimmick. His punches to the chest looked a little weak. But what he lacked in solid attack appearance, I believe he made up for in selling getting hit. Especially when he took the Killswitch and appeared to bounce his head clear off the mat up to where you could see his pain-ridden face. In my notes on the program I wrote, "Nice head bounce." Hehe.

David Otunga: The Hollywood man. His introduction vignette showed him to be very excited and charismatic about being in the WWE, along with being a man who has a lot of celebrity contacts in his phone, but when he came to the ring he had a zipped up jacket with its hood up and glasses on. His appearance went from "Fame and Fortune" to "The Unabomber." But when he removed his jacket and glasses he had stars shaved into his hair. His match was a bit lack-luster. It was a very quick match with Darrin Young that ended in a very inexperienced (almost botch-like) slam. He needs to work on executing his move, especially if its meant to be such a powerful, match-ending slam.

Darrin Young: This. Man. Looks. Awesome. He was bouncing around, overflowing with attention-grabbing charisma. And his hair was everywhere! His style seems extremely creative and easily recognizable. If we see him go on to be a superstar and a main event-er, he'll definitely be a man you can show a picture of to someone and they'll recognize him. Heck, just show them his hair! He really did play well off his mentor, C.M. Punk. Young was all happy and excited and Punk was... well, Punk. And Young lost a bit of happiness when he couldn't get Punk to join his cheerfulness.

Wade Barrett: With greasy, slicked back hair, suit jacket with flower pinned to it, and whatever he was doing with his lips... you'd think he was sent from the mafia to NXT for a hit on someone. His gimmick is a bare-knuckled brawler from England, and let me tell you, its definitely in his accent. At first, I didn't think I was going to understand what he was saying due to how HEAVY his accent actually is! But other than attract our attention with his greasy looks, he didn't do much on the first episode of NXT but compliment Chris Jericho, who yelled at him for not simply introducing Jericho like he asked. When interviewed during Jericho's match, Barrett STILL continued to talk about how great Chris Jericho is.

Saved best for last, Daniel Bryan: Yes, yes, we ALL KNOW (well, not all, Michael Cole claimed he'd never heard of him) that he's Bryan Danielson, just with his name reversed. From nearly the moment he was introduced to the WWE, he was feuding with his mentor, The Miz. The Miz had him enter the ring, introduce himself, come up with a catchphrase, etc. But he spent the time apologizing to his fans for being paired with The Miz. The Miz slapped him for his "disrespect." Bryan, to me at least, appeared to need a bit of work on his facial expressions while on the mic. He kind of laughed a bit out of nervousness and he really didn't get as big of a pop, or as much crowd reaction, as I had expected from someone so popular within Ring Of Honor.

The other two rookies, Justin Gabriel and Skip Sheffield, will appear on next week's NXT on Syfy.

The Highlight of the evening, the main event, was Daniel Bryan vs. Chris Jericho. And WOW, what a match! Bryan cut off The Miz and lightly shoved him away on his way to the ring. There, as a show of sportsmanship, he offered his hand to Jericho, who, of course, slapped it away. And then taunted Bryan by continually shoving him back, until Bryan unleashed on Jericho. One thing I did notice, though, was the weird referee intervention. Of course, in the corner, they have to push the attacking wrestler back. This ref just actually crouched in between the two fighting wrestlers. But after that little malfunction, Bryan did some nice slides between Jericho's legs and a nice step-up and backflip off the top rope, but he did take down Jericho by grabbing Jericho's leg and pulling (like the popular move in the WWE video games) and it was very odd and from the way Jericho bumped, it looked more like he just simply tripped him and Bryan for some reason, while sitting, bumped backwards and popped back up when he got kicked in the back of the head. Wouldnt you usually fly forwards or lean forwards then fall back and lay there? He made up for it when he went for a suicide dive to Jericho on the outside of the ring, and Jericho slightly countered... by somewhat catching Bryan and slamming his side into the announce table! Ouch! Oh, the bruise it left on him. That's when his expression-less face turned to pure anguish then intent on pushing forward in the match like he wanted to tear apart Jericho. Chris went for the Walls of Jericho, but Bryan countered it to his own submission, wrapping around and bending Jericho's leg over his own and pushing down on it. Jericho grabbed the ropes. The match ended when Chris Jericho was able to put Bryan in the Walls, but he placed his knee on the back of Daniel Bryan's head in the old Liontamer submission. Followed by Miz attacking his rookie, busting him in the bead on the mat, yelling "Huh!? You embarrass me!?"

All in all, it was a fairly good show. Great addition to WWE Television. And I can not wait to see what happens next week!

Next up I shall say who I think will be released in the WWE over the next few months:

I am doing this following the release of four WWE staff members, Scott Armstrong, Maria, Paul Burchill and Gregory Helms. I didn't really find Helms' release as much of a surprise after the incident a few weeks ago, but Maria and Armstrong really came as a shock after Maria is going on Celeb Apprentice and won Diva of the year and Armstrong was a really good ref who was liked backstage.

I have a feeling we might see the last of Santino, although I would not want that to happen.

There will probably be other but for now that is all I can think of.

You see it has been a long road going to WRestlemania 26 for Europes ELite. HBK4Ever had his shot to beat Cletus at teh Royal RUmble and lost, Kaihtafc had his shot at Elimination Chamber... And lost. Now that leaves it to me, the leader of Europe's ELite to topple the owner of Fourdown at the grandest stage of them all! I have beaten Cletus twice before and at WM 26 I am going to take the title as greatest user ever here at Fourdown by beating you Cletus for the THRID time.

Launched New Play All and Your Rank Pages

You'll find some changes to the site today - the old Overview/Command page is gone (well, it's not gone, you can still get to it at http://www.fourdown.org/fw_command.cfm if you still want to use it) and it has been replaced by two new pages.

The old page you'd get to when you log in had your current prediction game standings at the top and all the open prediction games underneath. Nothing about the 4-UP WWE Fantasy Wrestling game. Well, that had to change!

Now you've got two pages - one allowing you to play in all of our official games (both prediction and fantasy) and one that displays a lot more details about your rank (both prediction and fantasy, again).

The left navigation on the site has also been changed to reflect this. This was all part of a reorganization of the site, which will let me start launching a few new features. You'll see now that there's an overall "Wrestling Games" section - with the Play All (the new page you go to when you log in) and Your Rank pages.

Under that, the main blog links - first one is where you go to manage your blog / post new blogs, and then the two site blog pages letting you see all the site blogs and dev blogs. (sometime soon I hope to launch a new "blog homepage" area where the blogs get more of a focus - but that's not super high priority for me)

Then you'll see the Prediction Games section, which now only has PPVs and Questions - since technically, those are the only prediction games you get ranked on. (previously I had voting/polls listed with those) And right underneath is the Fantasy Wrestling section, which currently only has 4-UP since that's the only fantasy game at present. Voting comes next, since you don't get ranked on those, they're just fun extras if you choose to participate.

The Players and Wrestlers sections are next. Players includes Leagues (which, if you belong to a league, is your league homepage; if you don't, it has info on how to join or create a league), Users (which lets you search through all our players), and Seasons (which lets you view rankings for the current season or any past season, and also "all seasons combined"). Wrestlers is just the wrestler directory, letting you see what wrestlers have been voted the highest, and which match is the highest rated.

The Miscellaneous section remains with the New Comments (letting you view all of the latest blog, PPV, user, and league comments), Vs Challenge (the history of the Cletus Challenges), and Link Exchange (where you can view user-submitted links and submit your own).

Twitter is the final section, with a section to view all wrestler Twitter accounts we have in our system (and let us know if we're missing any!), all user Twitter accounts, and then an old favorite Y2J vs Miz letting you see any tweets between Chris Jericho and The Miz. (not as fun as it once was, but sometimes you'll find a gem!)
