I can't say I'm not excited about the changes for Raw. I do have one problem, though. If Vince wants to shake things up, why did every superstar who's been with WWE longer win his/her match tonight? Sure, Big Show and Kofi Kingston went to a double count-out, but that was it. Every other match (you can check) was won by the senior member of the roster. If you want to really shake things up, why not put someone new over?
That's not to say I didn't love the show. It was a really solid show and it's obvious they're trying to pull the ratings in for Raw. I just wish someone new went over. Mark Henry, while I loved that he won and I am glad for that decision, has been with WWE for a LONG time. He definitely deserved the win, but why did MVP lose so easily to a badly-injured HHH? Evan Bourne got some good offense in, but again, Randy Orton is coming off of a rough PPV win and was obviously in bad shape. Jack Swagger taking the loss - I can deal with that, since the title wasn't on the line.
And The Miz did get a much better showing tonight. I hope what they're doing is a series of matches where Miz improves every time until he beats John Cena - though that sounds like a storyline for a babyface.
Wow, though, ECW sure got gutted. I assumed every show was losing 5 members and gaining 5, but that wasn't the case.
How come Christian didn't get moved? Didn't they hear the chants for him last night at The Bash when Edge came out? I'll hope they have plans already in mind for him and just didn't want to start them up just yet.
