Matt Stryker is backstage to interview Bobby Roode. "Bobby, you lost the North American Championship to John Cena and now the match that originally was scheduled with Mr. Anderson is a three way as Cena defends against both you and Anderson. What are your thoughts before your match?"
Roode Answers, "Ever since I won the North American championship, Roddy Piper has had it in for me. Cena walks into Dominion Wrestling and the management is obviously star struck and grants him a championship match right away. I was not prepared to defend the title last week and thereforefore Cena got lucky. Tonight, I will use my superior intellect and get my title back and Cena nor Anderson will know how it happened, but as the leader of the selfish generation, I get what I want."
Lilian Garcia begins another introduction, "This next match is for the Ring of Honor Heavyweight Championship. Introducing the challenger, from Gainesville, Georgia, "The Phenomonal" AJ Styles!" AJ's music, "Get Ready to Fly" plas as he comes to the ring to a decent pop.
"And his opponent, the Ring of Honor Heavyweight Champion, from Elizabeth New Jersey, Jay Lethal!" The champion makes his way to the ring without any music. He is a throwback to the old school before entrance themes were cool.
The two young rivals hook up, Styles applies a headlock, Lethal reverses it and applies a hammerlock. He modifies it into a chicken wing. AJ reverses it and takes Lethal off his feet with a hip lock takedown. AJ applies a single leg Boston Crab. The champion struggles and is able to break the hold. One...two...before the ref's hand strikes the mat for the three count, RVD pulls the referee out of the ring and hits a 5 Star Frog splash on Styles. Lethal struggles to his feet and looks at RVD and shrugs his shoulders to say, "What's going on?"
RVD hits a spinning leg lariat on Lethal followed by a Swanton Bomb. Van Dam then hits Rolling Thunder on Lethal and exits the ring. The referee informs the announcer that this is ruled a no contest. The fans are booing RVD as he walks back to the locker room. They are chanting, "RVD sucks, RVD sucks, RVD sucks!" RVD stands at the top of the stage holding Lethal's Ring of Honor championship.
Backstage, Roddy Piper is livid about RVD's interferance. Piper enters President and CEO Paul Heyman's office. "We have go to address this RVD situation. Did you see what he did?"
Heyman agrees. "You're the GM, handle it at your discretion!"
Piper leaves and runs into RVD in the hall. "RVD you are so hell bent on getting involved in these big matches, I'm going to give you a big match. Next week on the show, you will face AJ Styles in a no DQ match. The special referee will be the ROH champion, Jay Lethal!"

ODB kicks her challenger in the thigh and then runs into the ropes and bounces back with a clothesline that only stuns the challenger. ODB repeats this with the same results. She tries a third time but this time Kong scoops her up and hits a running power slam. She goes for a cover but ODB gets a foot across the bottom rope saving her title for the time being.

"Your winner and NEW Dominion Ladies champion, Awesome Kong!

Heyman looks at RVD, "Yes. He has full authority to do that. The match is made now deal with it!" RVD glares at Heyman and grabs him by the collar. "You should not allow this type of actions against your greatest asset in this company!"
"Introducing the opponents for this steel cage match. First, from Liepor's Port Tennessee, Cowboy James Storm!" The cowboy makes his way to the ring and checks the cage while his music, "Sorry About Your Damn Luck" plays. He climbs into the ring and drinks a gulp of beer.
